Well I dunno, my headcanon is that in some video game worlds (like Mario) there's really no such thing as death, characters can "die" and keep coming back infinitely

There are actually a lot of dead characters in the series, some of whom don't even become ghosts or zombies, but none of them die during the series, as far as I know.
