Well yeah, I'm not disagreeing, but it seems a little unfair to place the burden of all of that on him, especially considering he had a hand in creating almost every game in the series that wasn't related to Prime.
The variety of failure that was Other M is rarely the result of just one person.
Except a bunch of the terrible gameplay decisions were Sakamoto's idea, and Team Ninja fought him on it.
Isn't it more the plot and characterization that were issues, though? I mean, it's not like Samus was characterized the way she was in Other M in any of the other games Sakamoto directed.
