Now I'm thinking of Stimpy showing off his "nose goblins" to Ren. :D

/ I never saw the appeal of Ren and Stimpy. Somehow, in being so weird and random, it just seemed formless, shapeless, and thus bland to me.

Man, one of these days I'm going to find out that I'm from an alternate universe from you heapers but somehow I have the same internet, and then everything will make so much sense.
  • THIS MACHINE KILLS FASCISTS
I had something similar happen to me...I had a weird, garlicky taste in my mouth, like I'd eaten too much of something with sulfur in it.
  • i dont like Ren and Stimpy either.
  • imagei will watch the heck outta this pumpkin patch
I can acknowledge that Ren and Stimpy is very well-made and that a lot of work went into it.  It's a lovingly-crafted exercise in grossness.

I still don't see the appeal.  It's not funny, and it makes me feel slightly sick.

Also, unhinged characters raging is disturbing for me to watch.

    It puts me on edge.

    I do like R&S because it's insane
  • I think Ren & Stimpy is pretty awful actually.
  • Really it's the episodes after season two where they put way too much emphasis on gross-out stuff

Stephen Colbert is sarcastic/satire political humor television.

I'm sick of sarcasm/sarcastic-satire, I hate politics, and I have a bit of a dislike for humor in television.

I'm not trolling, I just don't like the Colbert report.

You don't have to watch him.

And until recently Glenn Beck was on TV, and he basically perpetuates every horrible stereotype about Mormons, Republicans and people with ADHD by just existing.

We can do anything if we do it together.
^^ That fact really puts the lie to John K's assertions that Nickelodeon removed him from Ren & Stimpy because they didn't like the gross-out humour.
  • I've seen a few random episodes that afaik were pulled from all seasons, but I didn't like any of them.

There's actually a thing among Inidans fans called "de-Cheifing", where you take your licensed Indians merchandise and carefully remove Chief Wahoo

It's kind of stupid, since you're paying for the Wahoo merchandise anyway, but it makes a statement I guess?

The Powdered Toast Man commercial. That's about all I can say about R&S.

Powdered Toast Man was voiced by the great Gary Owens, aka Space Ghost and Birdman

    'Kay, I won't.

@re: Glenn Beck: ugh ugh ugh UGH! I detest him! He, like those two blockheads what make South Park, are on my "Pretend These People Don't Exist " list. He's the Orson Scott Card of people who aren't Orson Scott Card.

  • My dreams exceed my real life
The South Park episode on Mormons is weird.

They make fun of the Mormon religion like crazy, but one of the jokes is that Mormons are super-nice people who are impossible not to get along with and the episode ends with this speech

"Look, maybe us Mormons do believe in crazy stories that make absolutely no sense, and maybe Joseph Smith did make it all up, but I have a great life. and a great family, and I have the Book of Mormon to thank for that. The truth is, I don't care if Joseph Smith made it all up, because what the church teaches now is loving your family, being nice and helping people. And even though people in this town might think that's stupid, I still choose to believe in it. All I ever did was try to be your friend, Stan, but you're so high and mighty you couldn't look past my religion and just be my friend back. You've got a lot of growing up to do, buddy. "

Also, Bramblecrush, Master Of The Wild Hunt, Oakenform, and Sentinel SPider are the best.

See, I knew you could do it!

I prefer Naturalize to Bramblecrush and Giant Growth to Oakenform, but Master of the Wild Hunt is surprisingly awesome, yes. He basically won one of the boss matches all by his lonesome.

It's been so long since I've played monogreen that I forgot how trouble spot removal can be. Now I know.exactly how useful it can be.
I just Beat Jace, first try, flawless fictory, twenty health on my end, negative ten on his.

  • Stephen Colbert is at least more entertaining than Jon Stewart.

    I disagree with this statement.
My opinion on this changes a lot, but I usually lean towards Stewart.

They're both really freaking good though, bottom line.

Colbert is more heavy on the satire, which is fine, just not to my taste.
