Unrelated to that but, it's started to bug me how people talk about Sonic as though it's intrinsically tied to Asperger's, and furthermore, as though that's somehow a bad thing.
If people with Asperger's like something, I don't see how that's bad. Nobody on this site is going to look down on someone for being autistic.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Thought: Centralia Telecom would likely have started branding itself as "Centel" at some point

Bluh, sorry, I'm guilty of this
I figured I was in the clear because I have the autism equivalent of n-word privileges, to say it clunkily

I've said it before and I'll say it again: fucking Swype

Also I worry that imagining Centralia's telecom as nationalized means I'm some kind of neurotic dictator

apparently there's a light novel series about an alternate universe in which the Japanese railway system wasn't privatized and it's going to be made into an anime

for some reason i am interested in this as political/economic commentary

You do. I'm sorry, perhaps it wasn't my place to complain.
I just feel, like, people are the way they are and they enjoy what they enjoy, and it's not right to shame people for that. I'm sure nobody here thinks it's OK to shame people with Asperger's for having 'stereotypical' interests.
My brother has Asperger's, and we got into an argument not too long ago because I didn't like being told I 'seemed autistic' or was 'acting like I had Asperger's' (my mum says this sometimes). My brother felt my attitude was insulting because, well, what is intrinsically wrong with having Asperger's? I felt very bad about that.
"Has put forward the theory that the reason most of the people who bash the Twilight franchise seem to be men, is because Vampires have always been mostly male, and depicted as utter badasses. Hence why, as he puts it, "Men love Vampires". This is the reason why the Twilight vampires, who are more akin to romance-novel love interests than creatures of the night, have gained such utter hatred from male audiences. In fairness, he might be onto something."
This is the kind of lightning insight Confuzzled Matthew is known for.
"He's not a huge fan of things that would be covered under What Do You Mean, It's Not Didactic? or Everyone Is Jesus in Purgatory. He generally rejects the idea that a movie has any meaning other than what is obviously presented. If the movie has to be heavily analysed to grasp some meaning, then he feels that the meaning is likely just made up."
" Confused Matthew got considerable backlash for attacking Roger Ebert and claiming he was either an idiot or a liar for recommending Minority Report. And for attacking Stanley Kubrick in his review of 2001: A Space Odyssey."
So what I'm getting is that he's called Confused Matthew because he doesn't understand film, art, humanity, emotions, how to hide your stupidity, and logos.
Now I'm reminded of how terrible sheepdog theory is, and how obnoxious South Park's scatological take on it is, and fuck this guy
This Chickenzhit guy is really obnoxious, like the worst parts of Maddox, South Park and the original LJ Drama types that started ED bolted together. I wonder why TVT got so many douchebags back then.

Note how people getting annoyed at him got thumped before he did.
Wow. I wonder why the mods thought such an obvious asshole was worth listening to, while people making reasonable (I assume!) complaints were censored. I guess because the mods are assholes, too? :P
Yeah. By "mods" I pretty much mean Fast Eddie and Fighteer; everyone else at least tried to be understanding, at least until the Google incidents made Eddie even angrier.

and her arms, tiny, ca-age, for a go-olden ball,
where did love go?
and now, the baby that looks, like, him, starts to cry, a-again...
and again, again, he dom...ily of again...
the wreathing sephyr end...
CAUGHT...up a thousand drops of rain...
washed, down, the drain!
is, life, the same...in a way?
CAN'T..is the first, of, never comes...
clouds, dark, the sun!
is, life, the same...in a way?
...what will tomorrow bring?
we'll...both...see......
(Note: the above are not the correct lyrics anyway.)
