The crux of this argument was that you're getting too bent out of shape over a stupid Youtube channel, of which there are literal hundreds, none of which have made a meaningful impact on the fields they relate to. All I meant to say is that I had never once seen anyone talk about criticism the way I do, and I took that to mean that people here don't take the same interest in it I do. I never meant to imply that anyone here was stupid or had bad taste, just that criticism is my big, all consuming interest and that it didn't really seem to be something anyone else was particularly interested in, and that when I say that I find a particular trend harmful, that I found it odd that anyone would get up in arms about it.
