September... Miko is eligible to be eligible to be eligible for HRT... once again. >_> Miko once thought that she would attend her first con last September in a nice Touhou cosplay, in a nice body. Last year did not go as planned. Not even close! This one is... a little better, so far? Maybe? Let's hope it doesn't derail.

Speaking of which, Miko is skipping the "first con" thing this year, and going to her first con when she likes her body more. In a nice Touhou cosplay. Yes. And it will only be to collect Touhou fan works, which are apparently sold at conventions frequently.

The uncomfortable realization that not living in Canada is as distressing to me now as being male was to me in 2011

You can relocate there, eventually, together, if you both still want to, though it would require a visa and whatnot. Most people are not Canadian and they get along fine.

What's bizarre is I don't even really remember what I was angry about anymore, wrt living in America
It's as though living in another country is a goal in and of itself now
well, it's not that wanting to move to canada is a problem, but if "not being in canada" manages to bother you roughly as much as gender dysphoria that probably means that something is definitely not right there

CA: Your bf is in America, and so are people who are willing to help you with your body. It's generally easier here to get access to that sort of thing, I am convinced, but even in America, one can seek out a good doctor, provided they have transportation and such.

i admit, part of it seems to be that i'm tired of being American
because American is default and boring and not at all interesting

The first, second, and fourth items on Klinotaxis's list are things I would like but don't consider essential
As for American as default: I just don't want to be some uninteresting idiot anymore

I will try to fall asleep, maybe. I wish my gf didn't have to suffer pain from a disease because it makes her life harder and it makes her tired and sad. I wonder if I will one day have to take care of her in day-to-day life? I certainly would, but I hope that doesn't happen.
It's worth noting that weed is illegal in both Canada and the United States. Our ISPs are worse than your ISPs, too. We also have to put up with Stephen Harper, who's trying to import the American style of politics into Canada (albeit without much success).

But February is too far away.
also, I went to one con, it got boring quickly for me, but perhaps it would be different for you, I dunno
question also applies to England and any other foreign country you might consider moving to
Being American is ok, even though it's a weird place with a shitty mass culture. There are worse things to be.
and that's where the entirety of my social life is
