is being able to dance on ice without slipping and breaking her spine part of Elsa's powers or what

I was gonna say "being owned by Disney forever doesn't seem like that bad a fate" until I remembered THE VAULT

YES, THE VAULT. IT HAS NICE CARPETS AND DRINKING FOUNTAINS WITH EVERY DRINK. THE DOORKNOBS ARE MADE OF GOLD AND YOU HAVE ALL THE MONEY YOU COULD WANT. YOU CAN CHOOSE FROM THOUSANDS OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF BEDS AND YOU HAVE ACCESS TO ALL MEDIA EXCEPT THOSE THAT ALLOW YOU TO CONTACT THE OUTSIDE WORLD. NOBODY OUTSIDE THE VAULT WILL EVER SEE YOU AGAIN. THERE ARE NO VISITORS. THERE IS NO MAIL FROM OUTSIDE, THERE IS NO EMAIL FROM OUTSIDE. YOU GIVE UP THE WORLD YOU KNEW FOR ALL THE PLEASURES YOU COULD EVER DREAM. IT IS TRULY MAGICAL, AND ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE EXCEPT LEAVING. BUT THE COST IS YOU.
(Yes I'm well aware that's not without problems, but it deserves consideration.)
well, those problems need good solutions
It seems adequate to me.
It's meaningful, it's comprehensible... it's impossible to make language that's completely clear and consistent.
what if i referred to everybody here by singular "they"? it would be awkward: "glennmagusharvey reposted the information that they posted two weeks ago." "Tachyon's talking about something that matters to themselves." (themself?) "Miko would like to change the topic to shmups, which is their favorite type of game."
i'm not talking about using this for theoretical persons of indeterminate gender
i'm talking about removing gender indication when referring to actual people
[reposted from above] singular they for specific people sounds really awkward:

eve is a character from the mmo called elsword (it's of korean origin, though everyone does animesque these days anyway)
she's the queen of the nasods, which are like mechanical constructs or something
the two costumes i posted are two possible "forms" that you can pick as character advancement paths when you play eve
there are seven forms in total: code analysis (which i think is the basic form), code architecture, code empress (the white one pictured above), code exotic, code nemesis (the black one pictured above), code electra, and code battle seraph
my two favorites are code architecture and code battle seraph
Ah... I don't play MMOs. I guessed she was from a game, though.
I read what you said about singular 'they' sounding awkward. I get your point, but I suppose I don't see the point in using a gender neutral pronoun with reference to an individual with a definite, known gender.
And like I said, I would rather be called 'they'. The plural connotations actually seem fitting, to me.

I don't see how using "they" to refer to a specific individual would sound any more awkward than using a neologistic pronoun to mean the same thing...

oh for fuck's sake
the duke's thugs just fucking RAN up Elsa's ice staircase
I don't see how using "they" to refer to a specific individual would sound any more awkward than using a neologistic pronoun to mean the same thing...
If I use the word 'ey, it sounds like I'm slangily pronouncing "he" or "they" (or the appropriate personage), so it doesn't sound like an awkward neologism.
"Central Avenue made a thread about 'em taking a van on a road trip. I thought it could be a Vandura but 'ey said 'eir van is a minivan."

i could almost buy that it's magic non-slip ice
except we saw Anna stumble a bit when she first rushed in to find Elsa
i guess that could just be Anna being clumsy but still

Maybe Anna has magic limited to styling her own hair
That's a very limited power, but damned if it isn't a useful one

But seriously, who is Eve and why is she cool?
I do like the white outfit you posted.
I see your point, though.
