There are some Magic decks that work like that. My poison deck comes to mind, along with a lot of decks designed for short matches. But yeah, anything meant for a longterm game requires a steady hand and strategy
Which reminds me. We'll have to teach you Commander when we're done. Heap rule.
man y'know the Norfair theme in the original Metroid sounds so sparse and basic, yet it has a mysterious quality that a remix can really bring out.
Yeah. Something with the way videogame composers have access to a ton of instruments these days seems to be that people think a lot about something being rich in atmospherics -- which works a lot of the time, but sometimes, "richness" doesn't work and you just need something very sparse and weird-sounding.
The NES, GB and similar soundsystems were capable of bringing that out, solely on the count of being good enough to carry a few tunes but also sounding nothing like any instruments we're otherwise normally familiar with.
They could indulge alien world fantasies by presenting a very strange-sounding melody in isolation...or perhaps two in counterpoint or something.
Among those who maintain that the see of Rome, occupied by what they declare to be an illegitimate pope, was really vacant, some have chosen an alternative pope of their own, and thus in their view ended the vacancy of the see, and are known sometimes as "conclavists".
the 1400s called, they want their terrible idea back
I saw the house we're moving into for the first time today. It's pretty nice! My room is smaller than I have now but not as small as my mom was making it out to be, and aside from a bit of a spider problem, the place seems pretty nice.
It is in a mobile home park though, which sucks. I think one of our neighbors sings, I heard singing coming from her house and I don't think it was a record.

because YGO is 99.8% deck optimization and the other 0.2% is just not fucking up
like pretty much every competitive deck ever practically plays itself except for plant decks and maaaaybe dark worlds
so basically the whole game is netdeck2win
