I don't understand why they are making a movie out of Ant-Man.
He has one of the least interesting powers ever and he's a douche.
Pretty sure you know more about comics than I do: Which characters do you think Marvel should be focusing on instead?
I know there's a Doctor Strange movie in the pipeline, and they namedropped him in The Winter Solider...
I don't know a ton about comics, and I prefer DC characters, but I do have to say that Dr. Strange is infinitely more interesting than Ant-Man on his powerset alone.
Frankly I think that superheroics are more suited to well-made animated series, but that's not where the money is right now, so none are getting made.
You know who needs a movie, by the way? Fucking Static, man.

I still wish that Plastic Man animated pilot actually made it to series.
Based on what I've heard about the character, I can concur with the desire to see a Static movie.
are the Heroes of Might & Magic games worth getting into? I want a good fantasy strategy game other than WarCraft 3 (which I own, but the thing's 11 years old by now, and there're only so many custom maps) and DOTA 2 (which has cool characters, but fuck MOBAs).
i forget, is ant-man the one who hit his wife in a scene that was supposed to just be him swinging his hands without realizing she was there, and then that's the only thing anyone knows about him
I will admit that I find the fans' obsession with intercontinuity off-putting, just because so little regard is paid for actual storytelling content. This really isn't reflected in the movies themselves which seem mostly concerned with making, you know, good movies in and of themselves; TASM, on the other hand, is basically one big trailer for itself.

Yes, that's Hank Pym.
Okay, since when is everyone here and why do I keep getting ninja'd.

That actually happened to Spider-Man, too, but everyone forgot about that because it happened during the Clone Saga.

Because the magic attractive powers of Marvel are super effective on Heapers

Agreeing with you so hard on those last two.
Also, on the DCU side, we could really use a movie about John Stewart, seeing that he's the Green Lantern that our generation's familiar with because of Justice League.
That sounds like an interesting thing. But clones start as babies, so it would be spiderman with clone baby spiderman. And a clone baby J. Jonah Jameson.

I really hate the white green lantern
I don't even remember his name, he's an annoying douche with male model hair.

A, Ant-Man wasn't going to be in the cinematic universe at all; it was a pet project of Edgar Wright, and it was going to be a comedy. They just decided to roll it in afterwards.
B, Lame powers are my favorite kind of powers. You know what's better than saving the day with your herculean strength or limitless source energy in your heart?
Fucking turning into a statue and dropping on the bad guy. That's the greatest.
C, Guardians of the Galaxy is going to be the best Marvel movie yet, and none of them have any flashy powers. Star-Lord is a regular guy, Drax is strong and knows how to fight, Gamorra knows how to fight good, Groot is a fucking treant, and you all know what the deal is with Rocket Raccoon.
Speaking of which, every criticism of Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs appears to be talking about the game they thought TheChineseRoom would make, rather than the game they did make.

I've heard they're pretty good, but I've never actually played them.
Also, another option for strategy games is the Warcraft II battle.net edition if you can find it. I actually prefer Warcraft II to III, especially the Beyond the Dark Portal expansion for II.
Yeah, Pym's best attribute is the stuff that he builds e.g. Pym Particles and Ultron (unsurprising, considering he's on even standing with Iron Man and Mr. Fantastic in terms of science stuff). The size-changing thing is just a gimmick that's been held over from his origin days. There's a reason why he's one of the few superheroes who nobody calls by codename.

His deathtrap was a bathtub. Just a bathtub. It was slippery and hard for ant man to get out of.
This is one of the few times fiction has shown the true evilness of bathing.
That alone makes Antman 81 times better than batman or spiderman.
yes, NERDS
Yes. Yes yes. YES/YES/YES.
heroes 3 is one of my favorite games!

Pelican army is best superhero.
"change your size" is not interesting
Hey, if it means we get Porcupine and his diabolical bathtub trap, I'm happy.
What more could you possibly desire?
