How dare you speak to your commanding officer in such in insolemt manner!
-slap!
But I'm your younger self!
How dare I speak to my former commanding officer in such an insolent manner
-slap!
Wow, Al, I had no idea you were into that sort of thing!
What?
It's a time-travel paradox where Sergeant Bob is ticked off at Private Bob. (Private Bob is Sergeant Bob's younger self) and slaps him. And then Private Bob is all like, "I'm your younger self", so Sergeant Bob has to slap himself because he just messed with Private Bob, who will grow up to be Four Star General Bob.

Not every slap is something dirty, you know.
I am aware of all of those things.
But it felt like a really good set-up for that line, so I went with it.
So, it's like you've got footwork, glitch, trap, tech-house and... something, and you put them in a bag and you shook them and something awesome fell out.
This reminds me: I found an old CDr of my earliest material, and there's a version of a certain track on it that I really like. Maybe I'll rip it and upload it as-is, because it is pretty damn cool.
for real this song is good, i felt it almost wound down and meandered around too much around the 2min mark but only very slightly, to a degree where i think i will change my mind about it later and decide it's good. i actually cant fault it.
i have put together everything i think is good which ive written into my 2 portfolios and i still am 1 poem short. time to attempt to awkwardly batter some lyrics into a poem shaped thing
The beginning to that trap jam is legit creepy. That snare over those bird noises is terribly jarring, but in an effective way. I also like how impressionistic it is at points.
Both of these are very enjoyable, but "Terminus" in particular.
i didnt like the trap song but i know nothing about trap at all. it felt bare bones but in an unfinished kind of way, not a minimalist way? idk
terminus is one of the best things i have heard from you i think. that + that shameless old school warp records sound ripoff you did, both are some good shit

it is unfinished, it was a 40 minute jam thing that i'm gonna work on tomorrow with fresh ears

I just have to listen now!
I'm glad you got one though!
I recognize some of these samples also, which is neat.
