  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
I think TTYD is an RPG, just one with a sort of nonstandard flavor to it.
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”

    But I'm your younger self!

    -slap!

Wow, Al, I had no idea you were into that sort of thing!
  • holy crap a title

I just have to listen now!
  • and cover art and everything
  • yeah soundcloud doesn't let me do that anymore

I'm glad you got one though!
  • I also may post a song tonight, which indirectly features a noted Youtuber/acquaintance of mine.
  • More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
That was a nice track. :o
  • also I really like this, even if I can't place a specific genre it's pretty cool.

I recognize some of these samples also, which is neat.
  • ...And even when your hope is gone
move along, move along, just to make it through

    What?

It's a time-travel paradox where Sergeant Bob is ticked off at Private Bob.  (Private Bob is Sergeant Bob's younger self) and slaps him.  And then Private Bob is all like, "I'm your younger self", so Sergeant Bob has to slap himself because he just messed with Private Bob, who will grow up to be Four Star General Bob.

Not every slap is something dirty, you know.

I am aware of all of those things.

But it felt like a really good set-up for that line, so I went with it.
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”

So, it's like you've got footwork, glitch, trap, tech-house and... something, and you put them in a bag and you shook them and something awesome fell out.
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
This reminds me: I found an old CDr of my earliest material, and there's a version of a certain track on it that I really like. Maybe I'll rip it and upload it as-is, because it is pretty damn cool.

    naney sellz out

puttin this here too cuz why not

^ ^ most of the sounds were jungle inspired, with kinda footwork/trap drums
  • for some reason "The Pipes of Astra-Khan" just sounds thin to me nowadays.

I can't tell if it's just bad or if I've simply overplayed my own song.

i liked it a lot, as a song

i deleted my last.fm account earlier today

it occurs to me that that was the last place on the internet where i still had an inane242 related handle
y did you do that? just curious. i still occasionally find lastfm helpful even if i barely scrobble properly anymore

    “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
^^ It is pretty jungle-y, but it has some odd glitchy aspects to it as well in the treatments on the synths.

    Now, to selling out...
  • also im listening to terminus and just footworking everywhere because i am a free person to do what i like, which is a beautiful freedom
  • for real this song is good, i felt it almost wound down and meandered around too much around the 2min mark but only very slightly, to a degree where i think i will change my mind about it later and decide it's good. i actually cant fault it.
  • More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
    another nice track :o
  • i have put together everything i think is good which ive written into my 2 portfolios and i still am 1 poem short. time to attempt to awkwardly batter some lyrics into a poem  shaped thing

people kept annoying me + i noticed that i was going out of my way to listen to artists with lower listener counts

and i can still browse the site to find new artists, which is why i signed on  in the first place so

The beginning to that trap jam is legit creepy. That snare over those bird noises is terribly jarring, but in an effective way. I also like how impressionistic it is at points.

Both of these are very enjoyable, but "Terminus" in particular.

    You done good, lover.
  • im thinking that i should add more percussion to the beginning of the drop and make the twitters and beeps more minor sounding
  • i didnt like the trap song but i know nothing about trap at all. it felt bare bones but in an unfinished kind of way, not a minimalist way? idk

terminus is one of the best things i have heard from you i think. that + that shameless old school warp records sound ripoff you did, both are some good shit
  • six cups of coffee today

    need to write

    write

    it's 5am

it is unfinished, it was a 40 minute jam thing that i'm gonna work on tomorrow with fresh ears

Anonus, I propose implementing random monster encounters on HH, so that when posters scroll, they will sometimes get to grind for experience.
