I am stuck at the college library for the next like hour or so.
Entertain me, peons.
I would recommend going to the biology section and finding a book on interesting animals, preferably with lots of photographs. Or maybe a book on rare seashells like this one I found at this library in Philly. So cool.
ahahahaha
you think the library at a community college has a biology section.
why wouldn't it
the community college i went to had a huge amount of books on the local ecosystems. lol pnw
I do actually push the earth down when I do push-ups; but on an extremely tiny scale. When I jump, I push the earth down and it rises to meet me; but on an unimaginably tiny scale.
^My local university also has a biology section in the library.
When I get my own forum, there will be no rules against spamming, no limit to how many posts you can make in a row. I won't even kick out spambots unless they start messing things up and giving viruses.
And I'm never gonna delete threads or lock them.
But I'll ban anyone who uses "further" when "farther" is right. Unless that person is a spambot.
And I'll totally allow avatars that are bigger than the screen and are gifs so long as it is safe for work. And no limit on signatures except being safe-for-work.
Really, I'm totally OK with dressing like that if the clothes you like look like that - and you have some actual sense of adventure that keeps you from being a carbon copy - but most people who do... uh, no.
I always find it hilarious when crypto-fascist/Stalinist types call everything that they don't like "imperialist" while supporting states run by bad Ivan the Terrible knock-offs.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Community colleges vary widely, from what I can tell
I mean a lot of them are tiny but mine has like 26,000 students
Granted, our library is mostly a computer lab and only has one floor with actual books on it
Oh dammit, I just realised what that piano coda at the end of "Closer" sounds like...it's like someone took the piano coda from "Epic" by Faith No More and the synth coda from "Rhythm Nation" by Janet Jackson and mushed them together.
I was actually paying attention to the pop charts in 1990. Who knew?

Since when does Firefox not have a spellcheck?
/willful ignorance about the continued use of IE on public computers

It's not even a recent version because a big fuck-me window popped up asking--nay, begging--me to update it from whatever archaic garbage pile this is.
Yet, no downloads allowed on the college computers, so here I sit.
Okay, now I'm listening to Psalm 69, and really, it's a thrash album that happens to have a few industrial elements whenever Jourgensen remembers to put them in. :P

Twitch and The Land of Rape and Honey are much, much more on point in that respect. "Golden Dawn" is basically a sound collage with a beat, for instance.
I once again must urge you to listen to Horse Rotorvator. And/or Scatology, which is even harder-edged at points.
(That song being either "We Hate You (Little Girls)" or "The Anal Staircase". Or maybe "The Only Good Christian is a Dead Christian". Or "Do the Mussolini (Head Kick)".)
Actually, as far as truly noble-sounding industrial goes, Test Department's album-length anti-Thatcherite oratorio Pax Britannica is basically the pinnacle.

I am now back from class and am on a different computer in the library.
This one lacks even Google Chrome, which means no spellcheck. Hooray!

Anyways, remember that we need to gut-stomp Berkeley students and staff and we need to neck stomp Caltech staff, alumni, and students.
This is after we remove Ohio from existence and give high gives to Venezuela and Singapore.
