Maybe it's my old nostalgia filter acting up, but I saw an episode from some new show on Nick Jr. a few months ago (shut up, I was in a waiting room and there was nothing else to do) and I just thought "man, this is what kids are watching instead of Blue's Clues? Really?"
Even now, I'm pretty sure Blue's Clues wouldn't bore me like that show did.
It still suffers from the same problems that all "kiddie versions of shows" do, but it suffers in a self-parodying way. It knows what it is and has fun with itself.

I feel compelled to mention that tonight is the first night in a couple weeks that I actually feel comfortable with my gender. I'm a girl tonight.
