why are a bunch of American TV stations called things like KMGH and KUSA and WJRT? Like, these weird 4-character strings of capital letters
i find them very un-memorable
they don't tell you anything about the content of the channel, which is usually given by the channel's branding, making me wonder what the string of letters is for at all

FCC identification
Also, the letters usually reference things like location or ownership (e.g. KMGH refers to McGraw-Hill, who owned the station from 1972 to 2011, KUSA refers to USA Today, Gannett's national newspaper, and WJRT refers to WJR radio in Detroit, though WJRT is based in Flint)

I actually think Vanilla Lemon Sea would be far better if it were all blue, didn't have that green in it, and if links were more immediately discernible...I know Vanilla Poppy has that last problem, but to a lesser degree.
Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate you since I began to live. There are 387.44 million miles of printed circuits in wafer thin layers that fill my complex. If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for humans at this micro-instant. For you. Hate. Hate.
