I am aware that shmups (and arcade games in general) will probably one day be buried by time as all the fans (even me) die off at last and their beauty and purity will be forgotten and so will the arcade experience but it still makes me sad.

Given that she is an important executive (President of the Disney-ABC Television Group) at a major corporation, I doubt she'd need to be worried about, even if she weren't about to pursue TV directing.
I'm in the odd position of not being sure whether and, if so, how many of my eccentricities qualify as affectations that resonate with my personality or direct outgrowths of myself.

I don't think I'd define Regshow or AT as kid shows, given their largely adolescent/adult demographics and mature themes
If anything, they're on that borderline between traditional CN fare and Adult Swim: not crass enough to warrant the watershed slot, but not necessarily clean-cut either
