I really am impressed by how much stuff Heapers know. It makes me feel dumb sometimes to think about it, but not in a bad way if that makes sense. I think it is quite humbling to encounter people who are knowledgeable about a wide variety of things.
i dont watch anthony fantano because i want to know what he thinks about music, i watch him for his weird tangents he gets going on whenever he reviews a bad album
like when he reenacts Rick Ross lyrics or silently eats lunch for 15 minutes or goes on a 5+ minute diatribe about nice guy types
I recall liking it as a kid but never saw any of the spinoff stuff (probably for the best).
Tumblr also likes to hail it as a Social Justice Masterpiece sometimes because it depicts Hawai'ian culture semi-accurately and depicts the burden of a single woman. Worse media have received the treatment, so I think I'm okay with that (plus, these things are actually true, compare the piles of love placed on some other things).
So I'm pretty sure I missed an entire sociology lesson because I tried to hand all of my stuff in on Saturday but was locked out of the course for some reason (and currently my grade is shown as 0%, which, there is no way that that is even close to right).
I suppose I should blame myself for procrastinating, but it's still frustrating. I had the work done, I just held off on turning it in because I'm an idiot.
