  • Now I'm imagining CA as Sayaka from Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

    YNTMGT

Probably going to sleep soon, but not before having crunched perhaps too many numbers on being Equius (now with illusionary/betentacled!Nepeta action!)

"i'm confused; one fire truck went down my street then 3 others went down the next street
did the first guy just make a wrong turn or something?"

Firetruck #1 is just a distraction, trucks 2-4 will sneak up on the fire when it's focused on #1.
  • The sadness will last forever.

MUSIC IS ALMOST BACK AT THE #2 SPOT!

    The Tag battle is EPIC!

Also, I added another tag for "MS Paint Adventures" and now "Wonderful_bacon" is back.

    ...but for how long?
  • SO note to all of you

poor idea, as it turns out.

    Hey

Fast Eddie has watched a "This Troper" video :o
  • found out about that several hours ago.

Ambivalent. He'll do what he does, you know?

cannot do anything about it on my end.

The moon's really bright tonight. :|

  • In Touhou, Patchouli's title is "great unmovable library", right?

Isn't that sort of a pointless thing to say? Most libraries don't move.

  • I guess it means that you can't bulldoze her? I dunno.
  • *moves Idler*

observation: Idler is not unmovable, nor is he a library. Data on his status as "great" is pending.

  • I'm decent-to-good, rather than great, I think.

Touhou is weird and inscrutable, like the works of Henry Darger, except with more shooting.
  • I hated shmups back when they involved spacecraft rather than cute girls.  I suspect the addition of cute girls does not make them any more fun to play for me.  Thus, I am uninterested in Touhou as games.

You know, there's a road not far from my house that looks like it should go through to the next major road but instead dead ends just 500 feet east.

That always weirded me out as a kid, though in retrospect I realize it was probably just the result of some rich asshole refusing to sell that tiny bit of his land to the township to build the missing portion of road.
  • I like Touhou fanart and stuff more than the games.

The fighting games are pretty good though. If only because it's rare to see a fighting game based around projectiles rather than hittin' stuff.

    Interesting Fact:

Before the British of Iraq, Iraq was a loose federation of Sunni and Shia states in the Ottoman Empire. Also Kuwait was a part of Iraq before the British gave it to Ibn Saud

...why did I think "Donna Noble has left the Patchouli Knowledge. Donna Noble has been saved."?
  • Isaac Newton was an MP, but the only thing he said during his entire tenure was a request that someone open the window (or close it, possibly; can't remember).
  • >implying being away from Patchouli Knowledge is a good thing.

also I call her Patchy K.

I imagine that if she were a person I could speak to. I would call her that, I also imagine that it would annoy the living hell out of her.

But it's 5:41 in the morning! I have to get to the office in a couple hours; who else will make sure Gordon files the paperwork properly?
  • For some reason my brain immediately went to Commissioner Gordon and now I have an image of CA working at the Gotham Police Department.
  • I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
^^Well you don't have to watch them right this moment!

...it seems I'm obsessed with buying TV stations again. I wanna go after WFTS in Tampa, Florida, as well as CW O&O WTOG in St. Petersburg, Florida.

It must be nice to live in your world of infinite fascination, AU.

Granted I'm currently reading articles about Magic design so maybe I'm not that different.

It is kinda fun, if a bit frustrating at times.

ABC Lionsgate's finances are something I have never fully been sure of (the initial purchase from Disney had a $20 billion price tag, which sounded about right to me at the time but is probably an undervalue of the assets involved.).
  • There's one terrible story that I did about 9/11 when I was younger.

There were no physical copies. I'm pretty sure we wiped all traces of it from the multiple digital copies I keep of my stuff.
  • THIS MACHINE KILLS FASCISTS
I once drew a horrible sketch of an old friend's fan character that made her look like she had manboobs. There's no physical copies of that around anymore, I assure you. :D

In other news, I'm trying to get a Windows 8 disc to boot on my brother's MacBook Pro (since he doesn't like OS X) and the optical drive doesn't like any of the DVDs I've tried on it, so I decided to try a Sealab 2021 DVD in it.

I realized just now that I've forgotten why I ever liked this show. :P
  • Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
    Good morning, everyone.

I find it strange and amusing that the last two posts are sort of back on the same subject we were on when I went to bed.

    Hi, squid. How's it going?

It's 20 minutes to 1 PM where I live. I should probably start preparing the traditional Sunday lunch of grocery store pizza.

    I don't get it.

If Paul Fleming and Phillip Chiang (note the I in Chiang) founded the casual restaurant chain PF Chang's, then shouldn't it be called PF and Chiang's?

For the Chiang part, it's probably the same logic behind Chef Boiardi Boyardee. Maybe a lot of the customers were pronoucing Chiang wrong for some reason. Though to be honest, that name looks easy to get the hang of to me.
