In some ways I am really glad that LCD Soundsystem quit while they were ahead, but I sort of miss Murphy's weirdly morbid party songs that really aren't party songs at all. Like "Dance Yrself Clean", which has an amazing build and release but is basically about hating all of the people that you surround yourself with and it's just so delightfully acrid and sad.

you do miss out on the live gigs, but those are expensive and usually require you to travel, anyway
Edit: And apparently St Vincent, Steve Hackett and Ghost is coming too. Fuck, there's so many good concerts coming up that I can't afford.
