i might have seen his bond movies but i am not exactly sure i was aware it was someone named sean connery playing bond
i tend to remember characters much more than who plays them
actually now that i look it up, i haven't seen any bond movies starring sean connery
so my exposure to sean connery is pretty much basically:
1. people talking about sean connery on the internet (and less frequently, in meatspace), including his bond movies
2. people talking about highlander and mentioning sean connery
3. the "you're the man now dog" meme and its associated "alternate universe" memes, which are all quotes from finding forrester, where any discussion of the memes and their quotes and source inevitably involve mention of sean connery
4. another meme comparing connery to big boss
5. maybe a movie starring connery that i have seen at some point, without knowing it

i tend to be aware of characters and not aware of actors, but there are exceptions
in the case of Bond, because he's been played by so many different actors, i tend to tell them apart by reference to which actor is playing him in a given movie
i think some degree of familiarity with Bond is probably a requirement for a British person.
That said, i am not particularly familiar with Bond. i should think i know less about it than the average Brit. i have seen few movies, and read none of the books.

^^ I love how you kept the A I accidentally typed there
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
Espgaluda is a metaphor for LGBT autism. It stars psychic fairy children whose powers change their sex. Asperger syndrome or whatever is kind of like being a psychic fairy: you are different and everyone is afraid of you and you have latent power that can be set free, should it be needed. The transgender theme is obvious. At the beginning of the game, the oppressor's soldiers shoot their de facto parent and then try to kill them, but fail because their psychic autism powers awaken, and those shitty neurotypicals explode into blood splatters while the beautiful autistic trans fairies, Ageha and Tateha, fly through the filthy militarized underbelly of the country belonging to their father, the one who wants to harm them the most (therein is another oppressor metaphor), destroying the machinations and armed acolytes of the oppressor, leaving trails of blood, corpses, and debris behind them. It's because of their psychic powers (autism and gender) that their father, King Jachol, wants them dead. His strongest and most persistent soldier is Seseri, a jealous cyborg cis girl cousin who represents the manufactured, envious, half-living populace who will exterminate what is different from them so they can be dominant. Yet, even Seseri's powerful machinery cannot beat Ageha and Tateha. Jachol gets to be the final boss because he now has psychic powers of his own, which equates to self-diagnosing himself with autism and transgenderism (note that his children had these forced upon them before they escaped). The final boss, Jachol, is a metaphor for the oppressor's victim complex, fear of the oppressed, and its imitation and mockery of them. But in the end, Jachol cannot overcome the power of autism and gender, and a 1 credit clear was earned.

I actually was referring to the two small industrial-looking buildings on the north side of the tracks, but yeah, the Columbus Motor Speedway might also be a concern.
It amuses me how often I fail spot checks while focusing on transportation stuff on the map.

You know I am tempted to name cities in Centralia after my friends
"Havensborough" sounds like it could be a city name, right?

I'm mildly irritated with myself now because it seems I don't have a picture of one of the actual signs, even though they were fucking EVERYWHERE for a few years
Comments
it was an indirect reference, though, which made it funnier to me
blatant, but indirect, as if to say, 'what? i really have no idea what you're talking about *innocent expression*'

and take their weapons leaving them dead
What other role could you possible associate him with more than Bond?
To me the association with James Bond is so strong that if you mention Connery, i immediately think of Bond.
As far as i am aware, this is normal, but i could be mistaken.
idk why, tradition or something
but it is one of the more epic polandball comics i've seen
in the case of Bond, because he's been played by so many different actors, i tend to tell them apart by reference to which actor is playing him in a given movie

it was good, if full of values dissonance
that's the thing with The Big Sleep
it's a witty, well-written book, but the values dissonance is unpleasant
i am slightly more concerned about how that being right next door affects the livability
