Sometimes the scroll wheel on my mouse randomly acts up
I'll scroll one direction but it will act as though I'm scrolling back and forth very quickly
It only lasts a second and it's not a huge inconvenience
But it drives me crazy because I've looked at the scroll wheel mechanism and I can't figure out how that would even happen

re: encountering critical theory before uni, we covered basic structuralism/semiotics in A-level media studies class, which i felt gave me a head start
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
This morning, I couldn't even get to stage 4, after an hour and a half of trying. I feel like punching a hole in my monitor. I gave up because I was getting nowhere and I am playing like shit right now.

Cats: "This food was put out over an hour ago. I'm not eating this crap. Get me some fresh food, stupid human!"
Dogs: "Milk Bone that's been under the couch for a week? MY FAVORITE!"

Random worldbuilding crap:
Alicorn Systems got their start selling clones of the IBM PC.
See, IBM didn't do business in Centralia back then, so if you wanted an IBM-compatible computer, Alicorn's PCs were your best bet.

Hi Mojave! ^_^
"Wind Gap" sounds like a location in a video game.
"Wind Gap" sounds like a location in a video game.
It does. It is, nonetheless, a real place.
We were looking at houses out here in a mobile home park called Hickory Hills (which also sounds like a place from a video game).
We had appointments to look at two houses, at the one house, the guy just told us to go away because he had company. At the other, there was extensive damage from a methane fire in the bathroom (which we knew beforehand but we didn't realize exactly how extensive the damage was).
The management also apparently routinely does outlandishly stupid things, like shutting off water to the entire park whenever the temperature dips below 32F / 0C so they don't have to pay to heat the pipes. This apparently indirectly caused said methane fire, and has caused others in the past.
There's a street around here called Mount Pleasant, which just sounds like a name for a horror movie location. And no, don't ask me why a street is called Mount Pleasant.

Also so I can move out sooner so I don't have to see my dog die, and no that isn't a joke.
Down Wendington Lane.
That sentence is funny, I like it.
Actually every computer I've ever had has had this problem, so it's probably actually something I'm doing, but what I don't know.
I guess the Slovaks really got Czechmated hahahaha.
No but seriously people might die and it's a geopolitical mess. Quite depressing really.
I really like, hate the questions in my sociology class.

Not the usual one, mind. This one is out near Wind Gap.
