I haven't been banned yet because I simply stopped posting. I didn't want to get banned entirely, since I do still read part of the wiki from time to time.
it was never the stuff of legends, but it's been a good hangout and that's enough
This is generally true.
But I do wish that more people here shared my interests, or that those that did showed up more. Seriously, I would love to see more of Sunny and TNS.
Also, the fact that there are so few 100% emotionally stable, non-awkward people here can turn this place into a weird kind of negativity echo chamber when everyone is having a bad day, and that can be really freaking draining. On the other hand, it is a nice refuge from excessive ordinariness when everyone is generally on an even keel.
I genuinely don't remember very much about this forum in 2012 other than I liked it a lot better than I liked TVTropes at the time and that that was good enough.
Let's be honest, this forum was really terrible in 2012, and I am not excluding myself.
Yeah, it was.
I kinda thought it was just me remembering it that way, because, let's face it, I was pretty dang terrible back in 2012 on this forum. Like, seriously, such persecution complex. so self-flagellation. very drama queen. wow. pls stop. Much whine. Lots of annoy.
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
why am I reminiscing about my poor mental states when I have an angel for a gf sorry I should chase our dreams and never look back and also fuck my entire shitty past except for like 2003, that was an okay year.
idunno, forums where every thread is a 10-page argument or 30-page mock-fest and nothing fun ever happens are bad ones. Could it be that I am biased? Are some of us forgetting things? Willfully so? Miko can forgive, but never forgets. :o
you're exaggerating; fun stuff always happened here
we did kind of overdo the snark at one point, that much is true

oh god my posts always look bad after I drink. >_< yes I am using alcohol as an excuse for being my stupid self and opening my dumb noise hole. *hides*

i dunno, i sometimes feel like you music guys have it the best
i don't really have much in the way of overlapping interests with heapers, the odd cartoon aside
you're probably right about the 'negativity echo chamber' thing, but tbh the less awkward this place gets, the less i feel up to posting, anyway

you like Kill la Kill and Gravity Falls just off the top of my head (literally that took me like four seconds to think of).
The Lincoln is powered by a 400-cid, 179-hp V-8 engine connected to a three-speed automatic transmission.
Oh man, I'd be so tempted to rip out the horrible 1970s emissions controls and replace them with fuel injection. It'd get lots more HP and still be cleaner than the 1977 standards required. That and the 3-speed's getting replaced with an AOD, because overdrive.
I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
Dan Vs. also suffers from being on Hub Network, a channel generally perceived as having only one show of value (with Dan gone, that show is MLP:FIM, though the Aquabats show has its fans)
But I do wish that more people here shared my interests, or that those that did showed up more. Seriously, I would love to see more of Sunny and TNS.
Sorry about that (being sincere with that statement, not sure if it was clear). Honestly, part of the reason why I don't post as much (well, I don't really post much in general on any forum, but even moreso in the thread) is that I have a lot of trouble keeping up with how fast this thread moves sometimes. I'll be catching up on this thread and have a few posts I want to comment on, but by the time I get to where I can reply, it's already been 500 posts since the topic I wanted to talk about and I feel awkward bringing back a conversation everyone else considers done and over (and the few times I have done it, I've shoved my foot in my mouth). I actually have bunch of bookmarks in firefox from this thread where I've bookmarked something to comment on when I catch up and never got around to commenting on it because the discussion had moved so far beyond it (probably should clean those out at some point).
Which is why I made my manga thread and media sharing club thread, to basically force myself to post more often and talk about my interests more.
I'm honestly surprised that I managed to succeed in becoming vegetarian with only, like, one hitch (and subsequently doing the same thing with veganism).
Considering that a lack of willpower is the source of, like 80% of all of my problems (the other 20% being mental illness and people who don't realize/care that they are harmful), what should have happened was me lasting for about a week and then returning to my chicken nuggets.
i'm aware of the reasons why nobody talks about Gravity Falls and Dan Vs, but still
i'm not being hard on myself, i just, i dunno, i feel out of the loop sometimes
i feel like i don't know jack about music and i need to 'catch up' with everyone else so that i can participate
Honestly, this is how I feel whenever you guys go into literary analysis or Linguistics, which is very cool and informative and I love reading what you guys post, but I usually feel three steps behind whenever a conversation about analyzing media outside of music comes up.
I am glad that my nerdcore days are largely behind me except for a few artists.
i had no clue that you had nerdcore days
every nerdcore artist i have heard has caused me immediate, severe cringing
it's extremely doofy music, and I kinda stopped liking the majority of it when I realized that very, very few nerdcore artists had any modicum of self-awareness.
The remix of "Robot City" by Mega Ran (featuring a bunch of people) is probably the best nerdcore song. "Nerdcore Rising" by Frontalot is okay too, but again, really doofy.
Each time I eat meat, I will chop off one of my body parts to remind myself not to. OwO AND EAT IT 8D
Don't. The road to vegetarianism is a gradual one, and lowering the amount of meat you eat bit by bit until it isn't a major part of your diet is a better idea. And then reduce that but by bit until you can stop eating meat.

This community has gone insane(r).
I'm not actually watching it just hearing about it secondhand via twitter.
You should get a twitter.

Like right now my "full name" on twitter is Fight Club Prez Mako, but my actual handle is @MojaveMusic
nobody talks about GF anymore though, and when they did i wasn't following it
i'm into Dan Vs too, but nobody talks about that anymore, either
Gravity Falls discussion will roll around again when season 2 happens.
Mostly I'm just saying like, don't be so hard on yourself. We talk about stuff that's not necessarily shared interests here too.
Miko maybe you should have a snack or do something relaxing.

and that feels insurmountable, since you guys listen to, like, everything

Anonus was like:"really, Ali?" And all like I Exoect Better From You.
Lee was all like: Dude Ali, knock it off.
And Boney was like: quit feeling sorry for yourself and start being AWESOME.
this was about a year or so after I first heard None Shall Pass.
