You know, as much as I resent Kroger's attempts at making all their stores look alike, it's interesting to me that there are certain cues I can use to recognize the layout of the store and estimate roughly which "era" it's from.

For instance, the rounded corner here tells me that the this store had at one point had the "greenhouse" decor package, which dates to the 1970s.
