I dislike online math assignments.
Thankfully my professor this semester insisted he won't be using them; he says calculus is too complicated for a simple "key in the answer" type of interface.

We're still going over graphing slopes of the line, I learned how to do that for the first time in like 7th or 8th grade.

I feel weird about the whole public backlash against the NSA
Because the desired outcome is that they end the surveillance
But I can't help but think a more likely outcome is that they just work harder to keep surveillance a secret next time
and then there'll be a big scandal when someone gets caught and it will be called surveillancegate and, after a short witch-hunt, everyone who didn't get caught will breathe a sigh of relief and carry on as before

wasn't as bad as i was expecting
and if it's any consolation you'll certainly both be better at math than me, since i haven't had classes in it since my GCSEs
I'm doing it as part of science foundation year, but it's GSCE/AS Level stuff.
