I had a dream I was a Gargoyle from the series Gargoyles.
that was a great series.
it's one of the only Disney Afternoon shows I have any fondness for
I intend on getting some of the DVDs from Netflix
(the first season and a half were released...as was the last half of the second season, as a Disney Movie Club exclusive...maybe I'll grab that off of eBay if I want it)
There are a few Mumford and Sons songs I like. Most of them just seem kinda meh-ish. Not in the "devoid of good qualities" sense but in the "not good enough" sense. It's the difference between a four and six out of ten.
It's times like these that I remember that From, while a good developer, is not an AAA developer and does not have accesss to a great marketing department.

But they do have access to Namco Bandai's marketing department. Which, you know, is one of the most powerful there is.
I was in a game store once and I heard the Wind Waker theme and had to try very hard to not tear up, then I heard the Skyrim theme and started feeling uncomfortably PUMPED
"Despite Wagner's known writings against Jews, there was no opposition to his music in the early Zionist movement and its founders; Theodor Herzl, the founder of Zionism, was an avid admirer of Wagner's music"

my fave Wagner fact tidbit.
Yep. Herzl said that his ideal for a Jewish state came together after seeing a performance of Tannhäuser.
Also, the thing about Wagner to keep in mind is that a lot of his anti-Semitic remarks, while certainly offensive, were more about the subtext than the text, which is to say that at the end of the day, he probably couldn't give a fuck about religion, but he really didn't like Mendelssohn or Meyerbaum for very personal reasons. As for his wife... well, yeah, she was really, really racist.
I haven't heard that much of his work, but from a theoretical standpoint it's pretty interesting. He did a lot of cool stuff with harmony without which modern classical music probably wouldn't exist.
“I can see Richard Wagner standing at the gates of heaven. "You have to let me in," he says. "I wrote Parsifal. It has to do with the Grail, Christ, suffering, pity and healing. Right?" And they answer, "Well, we read it and it makes no sense." SLAM.”-Horselover Fat
I heard that one Taylor Swift song with the whole “she wears, I wear” thing in it again recently and just wow. That song is even WORSE than I remember it being.

Thank you. :)
Good night, comrades!
that was a great series.
How is this supposed to make me dislike Mumford and Sons.
I am strange.
Hehehe, Hind.
-RESURGAM FOR REALS-
Mumford and sons is far too competent to be a white power band.
