not everyone can be a sesquipedalian reptilian, Ali.
Yeah. But did you have to rewrite reality just then.
It was "more stupid", I'm sure of it, but you just did that Haruhi Suzumia thing.
I hate it I hate it I hate it!
I spend hours with dictionaries and I get the most basic, simple things wrong.
well one of these days you may have to come to terms with the idea that mastery over linguistics and grammar in the most formal and strict senses of both is not all there is to this slow, sunny life.
sometimes a run-on sentence is the best way to express your thoughts.
anybody who thinks their mastery of English is unparallelified should read Ulysses
that one sure put me in my place
my little sister is on page 200 apparently
~i always knew there was a little reader in there somewhere imsoproudofherrrrrr~ ^w^
Cool! I like her already.
she is... a very determined person.
im p sure that the most difficult book she took on before this was prolly Mockingjay or somethin'.
but like some time before christmas she went up to mom and asked her what was the hardest book she could think of and she said Ulysses and she asked for it for christmas and she got it and she started chugging away.

Firefox hiccupped just because I went and watched Ender's Game the movie, when I came back I could type but if you look at my previous post, nothing came of it.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022

Ugh! So all my learning is useless because of some stupid "just let it flow from your heart and express yourself" things.
It's just like in all the stories where the protagonist girl listens to her heart and let's her spirit soar in her music wins against while the girl who practices and practices to learn exactness but never brings much heart or creativity into the song because it's coldly rehearsed and exact.
I know the girl who has imagination and brings heart (if not technical skill) to the performance really should win, but dang it, why can't I be the best at this. I know I should be happy for those who can express themselves well.
-sorry, I'm just really tired and my meds are wearing off-
The basic, current rules on apostrophes are easy enough to remember, but when dealing with names ending in "s" i think it's fair to say there's an element of stylistic preference involved. Off the top of my head i'm not totally sure when it's correct to use "'s" and when "s's" is preferred.
The apostrophe has historically been a pretty overworked punctuation mark, so some confusion is understandable.

I have a monopoly on slamming The effluent and affluent Card, I bought all the rights.
Stop infringing my intellectual property rights.
Orson the Brick-snorkeling son of a Yersina Pestis with all the fortitude of a safe made of cheez-whiz.

My emotions are haywire at this time of night.
I promise to not post like that again.
