@Kex: Archery requires a hell of a lot of back strength. You should take that into account...
I worry about throwing off the very delicate equilibrium I have, but I'll try to take this into account. I'm just not sure that if I had to choose between Perception, Agility, and Strength that Strength is the most important factor.
Rotten Tomatoes isn't always the best indicator of anything but accessibility really.
it has three stars on Metacritic too.
Metacritic isn't a good indicator of much at all.
I've recently become very skeptical of reviews with scores attached.
It's not a good indicator of what something is actually like, but it's a great indicator of how people felt about it.
Something with a score in the 50s was likely either widely considered average or extremely divisive (in this particular case it seems to be the latter.)

In that regard, though, Rotten Tomatoes is much better. That's what I meant by accessibility. You really can't put all reviews on the same scale; reducing them to a like/don't like dichotomy may seem kind of reductive but it is a better approach in my opinion.
Also the overall quality of critics on Metacritic seems a bit lower to me.
A while ago, I enabled l33t haxx (is that like "hott lixx"?) to force HTML 5 mode for YouTube embeds, since I couldn't see embeds on my phone in Chrome unless I did that. That doesn't work on the main YouTube site unless you go to youtube.com/html5 and opt in.

man, I'm just trying to defer to more knowledgeable sources for an opinion because I don't like being left out of the conversation.

I'm sorry, I'll shut up.
Wait, augh, you're right. I was being really dismissive and I apologize.

Of course, being a suburban kid, most of the classrooms I was in during K-12 were never older than the 1950s...
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
I hate when I watch players that look like they are skilled, and then I see something that shouldn't have happened, and then I go back and watch it again slowly, and I realize they are cheating.

aah, it bugs me that longplays.org is supposed to archive gaming, but the Dodonpachi longplays are really terrible and don't show the gameplay at all. They have a lot of impossible tool-assisted dodging, but there is no hit chaining, no bee medal collecting, and no strategy being used. It is frustrating, especially because there are some really good players who can do all of those things without tool assisting.

while I understand that cheating passed off as legitimate skill can be frustrating, I would advise you to simply ignore it. Those people want attention and you are giving it to them.

That was a good speed run. ^_^
The aforementioned videos are labelled TAS, but they are insufficient for archival purposes, in my opinion. If WTN can achieve a near-perfect score with pure skill, I know someone can do it with a computer.

...now I'm tempted to go on a "search for pics of old stuff" spree
I bet if you tried you could be the next Bananasaurus Rex.

I took that as a sign I had mastered the game and should probably move on
