The font in Watchmen is similar to The Font Sans Comic, and the creator of the evil font wanted a silly font and liked the look of the font in Watchmen enough to base his prototype of That Font on it.
If I just wrote the word TV Tropes, the next 50 posts would be about TV Tropes. :3
Tv Tropes is where I met Yarrun. Where Anonymous met Central. The site of the original Heap, where naney joined and when the heap moved to here, Naney met Sredni Vashtar. Imipolex was on the original heap, too. So was Kexruct, Tachyon, Crystal, Odra, Boney, Jumpingzombie, Lee, LouieW, and also on that site was a nice girl who on this site is called Miko. Without TV Tropes, most of us heapers would have never met. This site wouldn't exist.
Honestly, the reason that I dislike talking about TVT here is less about personal antipathy than the fact that conversations surrounding it tend to be futile and frequently aggravating.
How come in fiction, there only seems to be red roses; and never white, pink, or yellow?
Also, why is Gold the all symbolic and cool mineral in fiction. Pyrite is a way better mineral, it at least makes a decent growth habit; and has much better cleavage than gold. How can you not love a thing that makes cubes in many directions?
And really, why is it "red as a ruby" and not "Red as Eudilyte".
And how come you see giant symbolic serpents in fiction, but never skinks?
Why are there no mudpuppies in fiction?
Symbolism. Stock metaphors. And at least some of the time, lazy, unoriginal writing.
IIRC, Ib has blue and yellow roses in it, though the main rose is red-colored.
Then again, I'm pretty sure blue roses aren't a thing. At least, not naturally.
My brother is insisting that when he moves out he's taking the Xbox. Uggggghhhh.
A bit of explanation is necessary.
In the summer of 2012, my younger brother and I managed to save enough money to buy a new(ish) Xbox, as we were under the pretense that the older one had been lost. I went to San Francisco that summer, and when I came back, something happened that made it necessary for my father to pawn off the new one, but my older brother bought the old one off of my dad so he wouldn't pawn it too. I feel like this should make us even, but apparently not.
I dunno if I'm being selfish here but my older brother has a source of income and a used Xbox wouldn't be terribly expensive.
Upon reviewing one of their albums, I realize that the album wasn't just about loss, as I once thought. It's all about the loss of the same person, across all nine songs. Even the one about Johnny Lee Jr. assassinating the president.
We know that they were non-neurotypical. Schizophrenic, perhaps. Prone to delusions. Voices in their head. Kleptomaniacal, high-maintenance.

3 sucked though.

I LIKE Tv Tropes, I had a great time there and made great friends, and there's nothing you sons and daughters of potatoes can do about it.
