also I don't get why Sweden was a part of it because Russia and Byzantium are Orthodox while Sweden are Reformed Protestant.
Crusades are about tourism rights.
not sure if joke about the sacking of Constantinople
Well, no. It was a joke, but about how the First Crusade was about freedom of pilgrimage. Although that is a bleakly funny interpretation, and I might like it better than my joke.
it's a running gag among my friends to do the stupid as hell "LAURA. LAURA." voice that her dad does
it's also excellent to say "THE BLOOD OF DRACULA RUNS THROUGH YOUR VEINS" at opportune times (spoilered just in case you care about the plot of this clusterfuck of a game)
When we reach an era where technology is optimized to always run smoothly instead of always being packed with features, we will have truly reached the future.
I should get out of this habit of, when finding out that we have the ingredients at home necessary to make delicious kaiser roll cheese sandwiches, eating said sandwiches for all meals until they are gone, but on the other hand, they're delicious.
The crazy thing about it though is that it's doing this all without major slowdown though
I guess it's because it's both iTunes 11 (the best version of the software, which isn't saying much, but still) and the fact that my gaming rig's doing the work.
Well, it plays your media, syncs your iPod with the same library, handles the purchasing of said media, and handles stuff you can't even actually use in the app (i.e. App Store apps, books).
The idea of it is great, but it just ends up making the app more bloated and resource-heavy. I'd rather have things separated so I don't have to deal with everything when I just want to do one thing, if you catch my drift.
Bad Rats is the spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment, set in the urban setting of Solstice, the oppressed rat population must fight to gain control over the most chaotic plane in Planescape, the story follows our protagonist, Kynar, as he discovers the strange laws of the planes, and travels the corrupt landscape with his traumatized companions.

I don't use the Store at all any more and have turned off automatic synchronisation on my iPod, so I don't really have those problems. I just use it to hold, organise and play media.
To be completely honest, not using the store doesn't change the fact that it's still there
Nor does it change the fact that all their time and effort is going towards adding features than it is optimizing the program or developing a lighter program or something
I thought to myself "gee, there's no harm in allying with the tiny Kingdom of Holland. It's just one county and with a huge big brother nation like me, who would mess with them?"
then fucking Brabant and their friend Denmark have to come in and ruin everything

If iTunes tries to stay connected to the store I can see that eating up plenty of resources.
All I can say for sure is that iTunes runs far slower than it probably should. Which most likely indicates that more time was spent on features and style than clean, efficient coding.
also because I haven't been in a war in forever my military tradition is extremely low, which means that all of my generals are awful, which in turn means that the only way for me to win battles is to just throw tons of bodies at them.
Then isn't the solution to just hit the little "x" button when it tries to connect to the store?
As an aside, I would probably use Foobar if I knew more about its iPod adaptability on Macs, but I do not, and I have no real strong qualms with iTunes and genuinely like its organisational system.
Alright, look, I realize I probably shouldn't have brought up the store, because this isn't really about the store. This is more about iTunes being about style over efficiency.
Winamp and VLC media player both run excellently on my laptop. They're so much more...utilitarian then iTunes, and it shows. I want to like iTunes more than I do, but how slowly it runs just depresses me.

What a bizarre, dumb game.
I have like no hunger gauge at all. Either I'm starving or I'm full to the point where I'm sick.

god fuck these guys
Speaking of which the "Dutch Revolt" event looked like it was going to fire a few years ago but it never did.
here, have pretty pictures of the new world. it'll help me ignore Denmark invading the British Isles.
