i don't want to sound like i'm in denial or anything, and i'm not sure why she would lie about a thing like that, but our legal system *is* innocent until proven guilty

Well yes, but our legal system is not our opinions towards people.
Not liking someone who didn't do something wrong isn't the same as accidentally sending an innocent man to prison.
I was not aware of those allegations made against Allen. I already thought he was a creep for what he did to Mia Farrow, but that's really beyond the pale, if true.
klaus kinski probably molested one of his daughters
the scary thing is that he was so deranged in so many other respects that that fact seems rather unsurprising
Kinski was a... frightening individual. There are rumours abounding about how he would talk people into doing weird things at parties and then convince them that they never happened. Post-hypnotic suggestion, implanted ideas, that sort of thing. Creepy shit.

things that i like that are questionable even if they are very good
klaus kinski, second wave norwegian black metal
also probably some other things that i can't think of right now
For me it's probably Muslimgauze. Bryn Jones was a nutjob, but his music was intriguing. I would also include a lot of early power electronics, which while certainly ironic/shock-oriented was pretty... excessive.

Seriously, Broken Flag, ladies and gentlemen.
I think I've actually heard Muslimgauze before.
They did a collaboration with um.
hm, what's the name of that electronic project the dude from Porcupine Tree does? That band.
He was a very, uh, *extreme* anti-Israeli activist. As in, he unironically entitled an album Vote Hezbollah. Or maybe semi-ironically. It's hard to tell. I think that he was pro-IRA, too.
Apparently a very pleasant, otherwise gentle person, but his politics were absolutely ludicrous.

i guess it's hardly a reassuring thought
his films never interested me
Wonder why.

Solipsism!

it's the thing in Python where you put two strings together
It was weird.
it's far worse when the ninjas give a better answer than you did

Queen were mainstream and usually just kind of silly
If not for Thirlwell we wouldn't have the phrase "supercalifragilisticsadomasochism", so there's that
