It's not just the semantics. It's that most other people seem to think that an Incredibles sequel would be easy: Just throw another supervillain at the heroes and the story writes itself. But taking that approach lends itself too easily to a mere spectacle, lacking the depth of the original. Syndrome was attacking the concept of heroism itself—anything after that is just going to feel like a letdown. Well, almost anything after that.
If Brad Bird and Pixar can come up with a sequel that does for The Incredibles what Toy Story 2 and 3 did for their original, then I will be just as excited as the next guy. I can think of a few aspects of the larger world that could be very interesting to expand on, and ways that the growth of the Parr family could lead to new conflict. And I want to see more of Mirage, because we don't know anything about her. Regardless of the exact story arc, it'll take time. Brad Bird worked on the Incredibles script a decade before it was ready, and I really hope he puts that much care into any potential sequel.
Between that and Delver, U/W control was so dumb in that Standard. I don't know if it ever happened when it was all legal, but I liked that you could just bring him back with Sun Titan, too.

the founder of this clothing line has a band called Teriyaki Boys and they did a song with Kanye West called "I Still Love HER". It has a really good music video.
Even though the scope of the conflict varies greatly from book to book, it never feels wrong because Terry Pratchett just "gets" how to make stakes feel important. It's why Snuff was so disappointing to me; the stakes were technically higher than in previous books but it felt so much less important.

I don't think I'll ever get used to saying "The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon"

I had a dream where I was walking home from the library and I had to get home quickly because I hadn't called my dad but I ran into a pack of vicious labradoodles that attacked me one by one and I quickly discovered were actually a group of obnoxious shapeshifting high schoolers. When I proceeded to beat them all up in their dog form I hung out with them for a while despite them thinking I was stupid and didn't realize they didn't like me that much and despite me thinking they were kind of jerks. Eventually I fell asleep and when I woke up I was really worried because I still hadn't called my dad.

I am becoming more and more regretful of one of my tumblr follows, but I can't stop following him because I don't understand him and giving up would be a sign of failure.
And I kind of want to talk about it in the tumblr thread, but nothing good happens in that thread, especially when it revolves around weird views on civil rights. And this guy's all about that.
And if you can't tell I have a few insecurities about if groups of people like me or not, although the one in the dream was likely representative of the other people in theater.
