  Yes, but also IIRC he's a proponent of the idea that races are genetically diverse enough to make some better than others, or something like that.

  Most fedora atheists (you will never get me to call them anything else) I have had the displeasure of speaking to seem to believe in some fictional form of Christianity that is basically southern American Protestantism but somehow the Pope is responsible for everything.
  
  More to the point, there is definitely a discussion to be had about how religion in general and Christianity in particular has become a vehicle for modern conservatism (especially in America), but Richard Dawkins is not the one to start that discussion.
