I want to know that my work matters to people and is making them feel things. Right now the only people who even know my music exists are you guys and some producers I'm friends with, and while feedback is always lovely and helps me improve it doesn't actually tell me if I've succeeded in making anything worth listening to. There's a lot of music that is technically competent but uninteresting.
I'm hoping that putting my music on Youtube again will possibly help me get an audience. Northernlion's made a number of reddit posts about effective tagging, and while his medium is very different from mine, I think the basic rules should still apply.
After that I suppose it's mostly a matter of trying to sort out a PayPal account so I can get Bandcamp working as a source of income.
But that's only the practical side of things, I mean the more nebulous stuff, mostly.
