I settled for a so-called "bridge camera" because my parents were willing to buy me one as a Christmas gift a couple years back

I like it with the hash, since that's how Tumblr denotes tags, but having a hashtag in quotes seems silly
I guess I'll go with the italicized version

I don't consider myself, like, an uber-geek or anything
But I like my Xubuntu because it's easy to customize things and I like micro-managing my stuff
every non face or shoulder button is weirdly placed and the analog stick thing is way too small and in the worst possible position. The fact that the system is flat (the Playstation has always had the misplaced analog stick problem, but the ergonomicish design makes it easier to get used to) makes it worse.
"Worst possible position"? Where the hell are you resting your thumb?
On the analog stick, but ideally it should be on the giant D-Pad which despite being the focus of the left side doesn't seem to be used all that often.
Also I'm not a fanboy. I mean, I am more a fan of Nintendo than anything else and I like Sony a smidge more than Microsoft but I still think Sony consoles have the worst controller because of their stubborn refusal to move the analog stick.

It's not as if it's a random decision. The original PlayStation controller didn't have analog sticks at all, so when they added them they left the d-pad where it had always been for the sake of backwards compatibility. Subsequent revisions have kept that the same because, well, established patterns are hard to break.
Full disclosure: I grew up with PlayStation and as a result Sony's placement of the analog sticks feels "normal" to me.
I get that but it still feels somewhat uncomfortable. Not terrible, mind you, but the fact that ninety-nine percent of PS2 and PS3 games were 3D makes that design decision somewhat iffy.

I remember one time my brother and I took apart a DualShock 2
We were kinda surprised to see that, despite the near-identical exterior, the inside was completely different from a DualShock 1
It was also harder to put back together than the DualShock 1 was
