    correct grammar:

  • you know that m-65 i mentioned picking up a few days back

after a bit of googling around and comparing zippers and shit i figured out that the damn thing was made in 1966

that is a grand total of 1 year after the jacket was introduced

it was probably actually used in vietnam

    how crazy is that

this coat is like old enough to be my dad

too cool to go on the bottom of the page
You know what I want now?

A Shinto Buddy Cop movie with you as the young, hip guy and the coat's spirit as the old guy one year from retirement.

But seriously though, congratulations for winning the vintage lottery, man.
  • A Shinto Buddy Cop movie with you as the young, hip guy and the coat's spirit as the old guy one year from retirement

    |<-- null range -->|<-- range of acceptable initial romantic intention -->|<-- range of being too forward -->|

    (not to scale)

One possible mismatch of intentions arises when these ranges don't match between people.  So it is possible that the acting person may take an action they consider to be within their range of acceptable initial romantic intention, and the audience person may perceive that action to be either in the null range or in the range of being too forward.

that seems like a fairly obvious truism

Well, from that we can define the minimum signal and maximum signal boundary points, and query them for different people.  And in different situations or responding to different people, too...a person's proper signaling range may change depending on who they're receiving signals from, or even sending signals to.

One could also possibly correlate this range to a range of displays of sexual behavior or suggestion.  Maybe.  There may also be other variables?

  • Essentially, The Money Store is pseudo-intellectual music for
non-hip hop fans. It attempts to present a curious combination of
genre-bending ideas, yet falls into a very simple category of poorly
executed shock rap. Veteran virtuoso drummer Zach Hill of math group
Hella has a hand in the production here - surprising as it may seem - to
the tune of regurgitated, noisy dubstep, strangely placed whirring,
bleeps, bloops, and other sorts of progressive production techniques
mish-moshed together in poor taste. Instrumentally, there is nothing
groundbreaking here; when the Death Grips production crew does compose a
serviceable track it feels like a wonky beat-tape reject. However,
the real problem with The Money Store is MC Ride's consistently
incoherent mumbling and meme-of-the-day approach to making hooks (case
in point, look at Sputnikmusic's own soundoff/ rating section). Ride
sounds like a lo-fi imitation of an electronic radio station hype man
that doesn't just stop at the beginning of the track; his delivery kills
any potential impact his actually insightful lyrics may have. Records
like this, while laughable in execution, still bring interesting ideas
to the table and fans to the genre of hip-hop - and that (at the very
minimum) is something that can be applauded.
this review still gets me every damn time
  • it's like congratulations you know nothing about electronic music at all and you think that lyrics like this are an active attempt at being intellectual

So he's misogynist and refuses to acknowledge that philosophy has any veracity. Understood.

The fanfiction quote was a bit unnecessary though.
I've read the first one before, and  in context, I think the point of the first quote is about how easy it is to convince yourself of a position and act on it regardless of whether it is actually true or moral, and how how you perceive the results of your actions is frequently coloured by the beliefs that you hold. As for the Spinoza thing, there's a difference between thinking, "Spinoza's propositions are maundering," and, "All philosophy is worthless."

Also, again with using followers to reflect on idols. Bad gambit, generally speaking.

actually on second thoughts i think ive got two bags confused and this is one from when he was an engineer in the air force a years after the war ended because i went downstairs and looked at it and the bag says 1948 on it

    thats still 1948

also on the underside the bag has a list written in pen of all the places where he took it and its crazy looking at it reading 'Colo Colo, Belém, Recife, Rio'
