A couple years ago, I feared for my wallet on Steam sales.
Now, I don't.
The games I want generally fall into one of the following categories: 1. on Steam, but an indie game: wait for a multiplatform bundle. 2. not on Steam, and an indie game: wait for a bundle (preferably multiplatform). 3. on Steam, but not an indie game: I might be able to get this through GOG. If not, I guess I can get it through Steam. 3. not yet available (i.e. released, localized, published, etc.).
Steam actually gets relatively little of my action these days. On the other hand, I find myself getting lots of Royale, Groupees, and other bundles.

it's taken me almost six and I'm still godawful. These things take time.
A professional DAW (*used by Venetian Snares, Skinny Puppy, Richard Devine and a whole bunch of others*) works on Linux, is kinda-sorta a tracker but it has this whole clips functionality so it's kinda a hybrid thing, AND it costs less than a hundred bucks.
@Miko i realize it doesn't make much difference, but if it makes you feel better at all, i had other people on my mind when i wrote that 'being assholes on the internet' post and wasn't referring to you specifically
i daresay you aren't an elitist, but i think you can understand why Kex gets upset when you talk like one?
i mean you don't say 'this guy in this video is annoyingly bad at this game' you say 'this game is so easy babies can play it and the fans are awful at games'
