i highly doubt Forsythe is in a bunker someplace hiding from the government, even figuratively
his website went down for a while, then it went back up and updated a bunch of times (hasn't updated in a while tho)
i was sad about his ban but honestly at this point i'm tired of hearing about how much nerds suck and what awful garbage people posted on tumblr/twitter, so i can't say i miss that
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee got aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall the way to UFO's final boss on Hard, but unfortunately, the same attacks clip-death Miko every time and also Zun designed every detail to mislead and confuse and frustrate

Pyridrym and I both have Touhou avatars: Byakuren and Miko, a good ship, and also the final bosses of Touhou 12 and 13, respectively. The difference is that the difficulty on 12 is a bitch and the difficulty on 13 is a little light in comparison.

I seem to have become incapable of staying nocturnal

...a traffic sign manufacturer I've ordered sign-mounting hardware from in the past sent me a promo code for their Black Friday sale
Black Friday remains as pervasive as ever, it seems

Thought: if Mary and Ben accidentally went back in time, Mary would probably decide to screw around and try to convince people she's actually some kind of alien detective...
"What's this?" he said. "Some kind of tiny TV screen?"
"Ah, give me that!" I said, swiping my phone from his hands. "That's my special communicator device, issued by the Intergalactic Investigations Agency."
so ummm why is every Zelda game good omg I totally forgot about this series
well you see they aren't all good.
all of them but the newest one are good, and then when the newest one becomes the second-newest one, it becomes good too.
thus, the Zelda Cycle is complete, and all Legend of Zelda games become hidden gems that only true 90s kids remember.
This is accurate, but not necessarily in a bad way. The way Zelda is, most people's favorites are ALttP, OoT (although the number of people who adore that one seems to be going down, oddly enough), MM, and WW. The rest are sort of ignored, but this leads to something of a pleasant surprise when I actually play them and realize that, yes, every game in the series is fantastic in some regard.
Weird things: Hearing someone speak for the first time and realising that you never accounted for their accent. (For context: Watched a stream of SMB by a French guy I've known for a few years, and he has a really heavy accent.)
Originally, as I grew older, I found myself liking Family Guy less and South Park more. Lately the opposite happened, mainly because Family Guy at its worst is boneheaded but South Park at its worst is often downright harmful.
I never actually saw Family Guy or The Simpsons; but I saw five minutes of South Park and decided that I would never see any more of it.
Basically, every Zelda game that isn't ALttP, OoT, MM, or WW is a pleasant surprise, and that's a nice feeling.
I've heard Zelda called generic-ish, but that doesn't seem entirely fair to me. What other games are like it that aren't just derivative of it? Zelda has a very specific feel that only Zelda can really capture.
idk Secret of Mana and Okami feel a lot like Zelda to me, to name a few.
If I'm not mistaken, Okami strikes me as being somewhat derivative, and I doubt it really captures that Zelda feeling. Don't know enough about SoM, but it's a party based action RPG so I'm not sure.
What's odd is that the one of the only genres I think wouldn't really fit Zelda is action RPG even though Zelda basically created that genre.

but he was funny
odd, i was able to access it a few days ago
well, whatever
Anyway, need to get more blood tests done. To be honest, I'm getting a little tired of being used as a pincushion.
Also snagged a copy of A Boy And His Blob (Wii version) for £16.
on the one hand it's just as well the detector didn't go off, but on the other it doesn't bode well for if there was an actual fire
and saw a couple people with animated gifs depicting Star Wars ships blowing up the Twin Towers in their signatures
