the game systems make literally no intuitive sense at all. This isn't a problem exclusive to the DOTA series and more one that applies to the majority of MOBAs. The reason the vast majority of people who like DOTA do is because it's hypercompetetive, but most of the challenge comes from learning the ass-backwards systems. The rest comes from optimizing your cpm.
You know who was totally awful behind the exterior of being a totally great guy? Desiderius Erasmus. On the surfae he seems like an easygoing person who is open-minded and tolerant; very religiously tolerant for his time, about a hundred years ahead of his time; and who is rightfully admired.
