wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Miko just cleared Perfect Cherry Blossom on Lunatic. ^_^ She used Marisa-A and got 642 million points. Last time she thought she had a billion but she had misread a mere 100 mil. ^_^;

So, some notes about clearing Lunatic: Marisa has fewer bombs but I find that 1) bombs are easily wasted by accident, 2) she has the most firepower, which helps a *lot,* and 3) it seems to me like it's easier to get border shields with her, which is accomplished by shooting unfocused as much as possible. I used shields a lot more often than bombs. Grazing unfocused helped a lot with getting those shields. I also made a point to collect the blue items for lives, even using bombs and (sometimes) lives to do so, as it meant a greater payoff. I used 10 lives during the game and I was pretty close to 11. I also shattered those shields to get rid of enemy projectiles, when it seemed too dangerous, as I was not focused on getting a big score. It also helps that Marisa has the lowest auto-collect range.
and tbh i don't care about realism all that much, it's just that playing 4th edition is about as fun as having a bag of potatoes inserted into your head via your ear
"It is a matter of grave importance that Fairy tales should be respected.... Whosoever alters them to suit his own opinions, whatever they are, is guilty, to our thinking, of an act of presumption, and appropriates to himself what does not belong to him." -- Charles Dickens
My hair is having one of those days where it really, really wants to part the Red Sea.
like damn son i ain't paying 10 dollars for a meal
$5 is more reasonable.
YES PLEASE
THANK YOU
a typical lunch costs me...different amounts depending on where i get it.
McDonald's: can grab like two or three McChickens and a couple pies, which comes out to 3 or 4 dollars and change. Filling but not very nutritious.
Subway: A basic $5 footlong costs...$5. Depending on where I get it, it's either 30 or 50 cents of tax.
Chinese food, off-campus: Can get a decent box lunch (rice and one entree, in good portions) for $5.50 plus tax (10% in the city makes it $6.05). Or I can go to another place that's $6.95 and comes with a soup (total $7.37). Probably the most nutritious of low-cost choices since it has lots of veggies.
Subs, on-campus: There's a Subway but it's out-of-the-way and I'm not sure if it offers $5 footlongs. The most basic footlong is usually $6 in a special-location place like on a campus, though. Other subs place on campus is also $6 footlongs (it just doesn't have sweet onion sauce). That's $6.36.
Indian food on campus depends on what I get but it's expensive; basic thing is $6.99+tax. Chinese food, same.
All-you-can-eat cafeteria during 11 AM is 2 PM is $7.85+tax.
All-you-can-eat cafeteria that lasts all day long is $9.55+tax if I get in there before 11 AM. Or after 10 PM. Though the selection is suckier after 10 PM.
So basically I'm paying upwards of $5. A few years back I could pay at most $5 for a nice meal. Heck, I could get a lamb shawarma for less than that. Or $3.25 for chicken and veggies over rice. And then I got into one little fast and my mom got scared and said "You're moving in with your uncle and auntie in Bel-Air."

i know of no restaurant where that will get you a meal
at McDonalds that will get you an individual burger or a Happy Meal, but not quite enough for a full adult's meal
at an actual restaurant, forget it, it's not even close
