Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
There was a point several months ago, around October or November, when my dreams were particularly vivid and I remembered more of them than usual. One of them happened to be the catfish elder dream. I didn't change my medication any, though. I wonder what happened.

To be fair that was a screencap from a video, but even within the video the angles are sorta all over the place.

@CentralAvenue: Add another yes to the list. What could cause the camera to tilt like that?
^^^Honestly, the only thing I can remember being worried about was Organic Chemistry, which I wasn't doing as well in as I wanted to despite being, if I recall correctly, well above the class average. I would be touched by that if I saw it, but I don't know any direct reasons it would have come up.

This sign gantry probably doesn't exist anymore (and if it does, it won't soon):
Is this one of those things where if I go to sleep now I'll just wake up at 2 am and not be able to get to sleep again? Are these yawns I am emitting lies?
Who draws the arrows on the signs? They are the bane of my highway existence, because you should like, point at a fucking road without confusing people.

Signs like ones I posted up there aren't actually allowed anymore. Studies showed that having multiple arrows pointing to a single lane confused the hell out of people (no, really?) so the Feds banned it in the latest traffic control manual.
The alternative would be something like this, only (probably) not poorly drawn:

I'm not sure if I have a Wikipedia bug or something...but the page on "Corn" has a hidden ceranwrap page that redirects any link or click on it to a Anti-Semetic 9/11 Blame Site or whatever.

I'm in the process of cleaning my room and getting rid of some of my old crap, as well as clearing off my desk so I can use it again. While doing this, I decided to read through my old high school year books (something I mercifully haven't done in a while), and I had some observations to make:
The spine text on my 1994 (junior year) book is set in...ITC Serif Gothic. I swear, this font is stalking me. :P
Everything else? It looks like it was all set up in WordPerfect 5.1 using the default PostScript fonts, as practically all of the body text is Times New Roman, and several other representatives of the Adobe 35 show up as well. Hell, the front cover graphics are in Zapf Chancery! If I didn't remember the fact that the English department computers at the time were horrible old DTKs, and most of the other computers in the school were even nastier Everexes, I would have sworn this was set up on a Mac running ATM and PageMaker.
There were sections going on about The Chronic and Ten. Yes, I know they're two of the best-regarded albums of the 1990s, but the enthusiasm the kids at my school had for them then just strikes me as odd.
The prom king and queen for the class of 1993 looked like the Captain and Tennille. I'm not kidding.
And finally,. I looked at pictures of my crush at the time. And you know what I heard in my head?
Todd in the Shadows screaming "WHY WHY WHY", from his "Alejandro" review. :P
She's just....I guess she was kind of cute, but really, she's just weird-looking and maybe even a little creepy! I had to think for a second as to why I was so attracted to her in the first place.
Then I remembered it. I'd seen her name on a box of disks in 10th grade, since she was in one of the other BASIC classes. I liked her because I thought her handwriting was pretty.
I LIKED HER BECAUSE I THOUGHT HER HANDWRITING WAS PRETTY.
It wasn't because she resembled any family members, it wasn't because of any of the lame, grasping-at-straws reasons I've thought of since I started trying to figure this out, it was simply because I thought she had cute handwriting. That and I'm pretty sure I wasn't over Aly from 9th grade just yet and I decided she was close enough by way of 1NS4N3 TROLL LOG1C.

Viani why are you posting what appear to be statistics for various items from what I can only guess is a WalMart-running simulator?
I am making a Wal-Mart Themed RPG in RPGXP, which consists of you being a great and powerful sorcerer/time traveler, being sent to the Mart Dimension, a plane where all sorts of beings run Supercenters and are in eternal conflict of obtaining money from The Masses, a giant collection of different consumer based beings who spend their hard-earned cash on products sold by the powerful Supercenters.
Your goal is to make the best Superstore in the Mart Dimension by challenging other Supercenters to battles of capitalism and greed, to outsell the opponent and expand across the entire dimension.
Every day that passes on the Calendar, different challenges are met. Random holidays and cravings of The Masses will decide what items will sell best (one day, the popularity of Lawn Mowers and Salt will increase and the popularity of Watermelon and T-Shirts will drop, another day there might be a Dimensional Suspension of the sales of Lawn Mowers), and sometimes cataclysmic things will happen to your store on some days (Riots that cause loss of product, day-to-day shoplifting, Alien Attacks, Nuclear Fallouts, Downtown Volcanoes) in which you hire Employees to protect your product, like Cashiers, Technician, Security, Pinkertons, Enforcers, Farmers, Lawyers and the like.
Eventually when you are done using your dc to buy more stock for your store, you can use the profits to purchase Advertisement Space, Subliminal Messages, Court Orders against The Masses to buy at your Store, Lawyer Duels with other stores to decide conflicts, Weaponized Vehicles to protect the stock from Shoplifters, and Small Meteors to attack other stores.
Your job is to find enough space to sell products that will drain The Masses of their money, and become the Ultimate Supercenter in the entire galaxy.
When I hire enough coders to help me even get it to work.
Because like many People Who Own Computers But Don't Know Shit About Video Games, I don't know shit about coding and what not, and am a miserable little pile of lists and stats.
ALTHOUGH, I could make a text-based booklet and allow people to play it on-paper, so it would be like the Wal-Mart version of like Riskopoly or something.
Okay, time to get some sleep; I'll finish cleaning once I wake up. Also, I really should stop trying to be deep; Occam wants a word with me, I'm sure. :P
