It bothers me a lot really. Like, "war criminal" is a hell of a thing to accuse someone of when you neither understand nor ever will understand why certain decisions were made, even if you disagree with them.

that's not really an opinion, it's a statement of fact
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022

either he is a war criminal or he isn't
Or an extreme statement made from an limited viewpoint with no sort of authority to back it up.
It's so weird because almost every time I see an opinion stated here it's done in such a self assured way so as to leave no room for the possibility that maybe, just maybe, it might be incorrect.

I switched back to the stock Nexus 7 Rom
I hate to admit it, but it's way faster now...the copy of cyanogenmod I had must have been a bad one
(I did root the thing again, at least, so it's not as though I'm running it straight out of the box)

Not really, no. Many of the current practices of the CIA, NSA, DHS and US military started by the Bush Administration and continued under President Obama qualify as war crimes under the Geneva Conventions. While he did discontinue many of these programs, this does not absolve him of responsibility for the ones that he did continue.

I'm just saying that it's ridiculous to try judging the morality of someone in a position of power like that. I don't agree with many of the things he's done but I simply lack-and will always lack- the perspective to judge him based off the decisions he has made.

"war criminal" is a legal term dude, not a judgement of character.

PONYS ARE SHIT :D AND ANIME
What about anime, is it shit too?
Yes :^) Real men shouldn't watch cartoons for little girls :^) They should fuck rifles and shoot women

Why is it ridiculous to judge the morality of acts of an individual in a position of power? I do not think that I can say for sure whether or not I would do certain ethically questionable things for the greater good when put in that position—most people cannot—but that does not justify violating the rule of law or harming innocent people.

Not the acts, the person. He's in one of the most powerful positions on the planet. I don't like a good deal of what he's done, but almost no one is in a position to judge him as a person based off of what has happened during his presidency.
All right, there is a slight difference between violating an unjust law or bending certain rules in order to ultimately do the right thing, but there is a very big difference between, say, sending the Navy SEALs to catch Osama bin Laden and bombing civilian targets in the vain hope of killing said terrorist's chauffeur or some crap.
Smee, Maiman, Doktar, Pavelier, Button-Lee, Juan Ovyu
I saw Barack Obama at a grocery store in NYC yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn't want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, "Oh, like you're doing now?" I was taken aback, and all I could say was "Huh?" but he kept cutting me off and going "huh? huh? huh?" and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw Obama trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like "Sir, you need to pay for those first." At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually "to prevent any electrical infetterence," and then turned around and winked at me. I don't even think that's a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

^ Do you judge the morality of Vladimir Putin?
I think given the myriad of things he's done sans the excuse of being for the greater good I think I'm in a much better position to judge him than Obama.

Witch-powered hat.
Never runs out of witch.
unless i'm shitposting, i do that a lot i guess
either he is a war criminal or he isn't
