lol it's hilarious when people think that "linear" is a bad thing in video games because most games have a starting point and an end goal

    > She's a 10 year old girl.

I specifically mentioned t-shirt-and-jeans!Fate, which is only a thing in StrikerS, where she is an adult, and a military professional too.

I already posted that in the Heap of Tunes thread, but R.I.P. all the same.

It's oddly fitting that he died on a Sunday morning.

I was going to ask what operating system until I remembered that you just posted a screenshot of your Windows 7 a little while ago

That said, Media Player Classic Home Cinema is a good choice and I used it for many years before switching back to VLC recently

i am not touching media player

every time i open it renames half my music

    with the wrong titles

plus i think i uninstalled and deleted it months ago, tho i suppose it can't hurt to check that

Whu? MPC shouldn't go near your files unless you're using it to open them. Are you confusing it with WMP?
  • imagei will watch the heck outta this pumpkin patch
oh wait, media player classic is different from WMP, derp
  • imagei will watch the heck outta this pumpkin patch
oh fuck you error message, i tried to post that months ago

    look just because i use a computer doesn't mean i know the first thing about computers or software available for them ok ._.;

To be fair it's kinda their own fault for giving it a generic name like "Media Player Classic"

On the note of MPC, MPC-HC hit 1.7(.0) a few days ago. (And by that I mean a month but shush)

You know what irritates me? Review of things like OpenOffice and LibreOffice always seem to be framed as a comparison to Microsoft Office rather than judging the software on its own merits.

Like, I can understand emphasizing Microsoft Office compatibility, since you want to be able to reliably open things other people send you, but there also seems to be this attitude that Microsoft Office is some gold standard of design or usability that other software needs to measure up to. Which strikes me as quite nonsensical, given that Office seems to suffer from many of the unfortunate design decisions that are typical of Microsoft.

it's because people are used to Office

I never liked what the 2007 and 2010 versions' interfaces were like
