Birthplace of Chrysanthemum Rose, the Centralian Royal Unicorn
It was a crossover game. Sasuke, the sleuth Dangan Ronpa, Sayaka from Madoka, Levi from SNK and a magical tanuki in a weird school.
The poledance was a secret attack learned by both Sasuke and the DR, who used it to kick Hitomi off of a building. After nearly being eaten alive by Snakeman's snakes. And the pole-dancing was done on Sasuke's katana, which I stuck in the ground specifically to facilitate such a thing.
I wasn't actually a part of the game, but I got to play as Sasuke when a guy had to leave.
I may or may not have attempted to rip off Snakeman's (that snake guy from Naruto. i can't remember his name, but Billy vs. Snakeman calls him Snakeman and I liked that MMORPG) magical girl skirt in order to stun Hitomi. May or may not have. Nothing can be proven.
There was an assembly of nerds that I attended. There were two roleplaying games, a couple matches of SSBB, and one game of MTG.
The first roleplaying game involved the phrase 'Super High-School Level Pole Dance On a Katana, Critical Hit' and the second had us converting our enemies with Care Bear Stares.
I am willing to explain the first phrase on request.
ABC Inc demands imaginary compensation for the usage of the term "Care Bear Stares"
do you ever hear music so bad that you feel better about your own
if this dude can get on a label, i can get on a label
...wow.
I mean
sometimes I have very little self-confidence in my music and wonder if I might be awful and just not realize it
but like
eh?
Your music may be non-conventional, but there's still a sense that you understand the basics of musical quality. You have a sense of...finesse, so to speak.
That guy? He just flung a couple of stems together. I can barely put together a cohesive track, and I can still sense that something's seriously off.
also I'm pretty sure I hear at least two FL Studio defaults and this thing has more combined lifetime plays than Samuel Truth's entire soundcloud page.
I mean, I'm not going to compare myself to anyone because that's just asking for trouble, but this guy is pretty much awful compared to someone I know personally who is relatively obscure.

it is because it was reviewed on RA, got a 3 1/2 out of 5 and to quote one commentator
is this guy talking about himself because his tracks are so stiff and flat and are pretty much just ungroovy forays into boring deep house
also I understand that Party Supplies made lo-fi sampling chic, but you have to integrate it into the fidelity of your overall track, I can literally hear the background noise starting and stopping on that vocal sample.
p much the definitive serious electronic music website
they tend to review things rather overly positively, but this is the first genuinely awful thing i've seen them pick up and drop the ball on in a while
So while his latest release, again on Fourth Wave, doesn't deviate wildly from that blueprint, there's a greater refinement of Read's take on retro house. He slots a "You got no God damn groove" vocal sample neatly around a funky bassline and grimy kick, effectively thumbing his nose at his own track title. About halfway through, everything but the sample is muted. The snare pattern comes to the front of the mix, a jaunty melodic loop enters, and we're once again immersed in the inexorable groove. "Rubber Hands" is more functional, with synths and kicks that sound as if they've been coated in mud, but "Andy's Asteroids" displays a kind of insouciance—a lack of concern with the needs of the dance floor. There's a strong groove, buffeted by stippled woodblocks and wonderfully gaseous hiss, but it fades in and out, seemingly at the whim of its creator.
uhhhhhhhhh
man where do you hear *any* of this on the track? did they get some press-exclusive better mix?

oh yeah, so life situation update I guess. My stepdad moved out a few days ago. Apparently we have 30 days to get out of the house if the bank accepts the offer the most recent buyer made.
I don't know where I'll go if we have to leave, my mom's not found a place yet and I don't really have any relatives I could stay with. At least none who live in this state.

I've been doing my own laundry since I was like 13, myself
I don't even remember why I started
^ Dang, that sucks. I hope you can work something out...

Yeah I try to not talk about it much here because I know there's really nothing you guys can do, but it's sort of gotten to the point where I just don't have anyone else to talk to about it.

lol yes.
At least as far as the hip-hop world is concerned which doesn't necessarily apply to this dude, but that is where most of my music knowledge lies.
and it's not like it hasn't been "in" in the past, it just now is again, and now Youtube videos are the new to-gos.

it's probably easy I've just never had the impetus to learn.
"Impetus" is a useful word, by the way. it looks very cold there.
