I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
Aw man
I keep wanting to watch that show again
Lilo & Stitch: one of very, very few boss things from the end of Eisner's tenure (though really, Walt Disney Television Animation did a great job of escaping the taint of mediocrity that infected the rest of Disney at this time)
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
re: jobs: I have probably put in about 50 applications since the last time I was employed. I've had any form of response exactly twice. One was too far away, and in the other, I learned that accidentally slipping through the initial scum filter means someone reminding you to your face, silently, how much you don't belong in in their world, especially if you: -are long-term unemployed and (especially) a NEET -lack the appropriate experience or training -have no personal connections to the job -have no college degree -do not have appropriate work-related references to talk about you -lack the social skills to seem outgoing and amicable, *even if you try your absolute hardest,* because you're autistic And my personal favorite, the thing that now makes all of the above irrelevant: -are fucking transgender. get out of my building.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
what you should do is what that one person did on the weekly world news and go on an ocean cruise as a sturdy muscular male bricklayer and get an operation and come back as a sexy swedish supermodel
i am like 98% sure that particularly unrealistic article was my first exposure to transgenderism as a concept

I'm still pretty crippled, socially
It doesn't help that I rarely spend time around anyone other than my family >_>

And now I tried to look up an FCC ID and it didn't fucking work. :P
God damn fucking shutdown, I'm going to end up at UVa Library (since it's the only library I know of that would likely have the things I'm looking for, though do note that I haven't been there in over 20 years...it's entirely possble PWPLS might have some of it now) to look things up because of this shit. >:P
See, this is why it wasn't so bad in 1995. Most of the things we take for granted on the Internet didn't exist yet, and that includes most of the federal databases I use. That and I was on a college campus for a good half of that year; if I wanted to cut class and read books all day look something up, I could just go to the campus library and do that. I kind of can't do that anymore.

^^ I don't know why that post and avatar combination amuses me, but it does

the British use of these terms makes no sense to me
It's kind of a moot point, since in practice most Americans will refer to the lane in terms of "left" or "right" anyway.
But when I'm talking to people from left-hand-drive countries online, it would be nice if there were a set of terms I could use to describe the lanes' positioning relative to each other without having to specify the rule of the road.
I didn't have a problem with it, but I was indifferent to two of the artist and kinda liked that the other two where called out on their arteest bullshit.
