You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Hahaha I took the puppy out and there just happened to be a freight train passing by and he freaked out
Marisa Kirisame: Alias "The Black-White Magician". A professional thief, and one half of the black marketeer duo "Grimoire". She handles the potion-making side of the business, and as such has acquired an immunity to poisons. An extraordinarily strong magician for a human, and suspected to be close to becoming a youkai. Spent some time under the tutelage of the spirit Mima. Has ties to the Hakurei shrine.
Alice Margatroid: Alias "The Rainbow Dollmaker". The other half of Grimoire, and a former human. She handles the physical side of the business. Cold and aloof, she is rarely seen by customers. Known to own an incredibly powerful tome of magic, and is rumoured to have used it to transfer her soul to a doll's body.

"A former human" is a phrase that needs to be used more often
I should put it on my resumé once I ascend to goddesshood
my mom is a half hour late to pick me up and I just felt a violent, stabbing pain in my chest. So suffice it to say this day is going downhill quite quickly.

I am conflicted on whether or not to like the new, modern, Sherlock show.
Sheridan Hope and Ormund Sacker (I don't care if they were renamed to Sherlock Holmes and John H. Watson by Arthur Conan Doyle after the first draft; Ormund Sacker is one of the best names I have ever heard) should not be famous in-universe. They should appear to be just normal guys, the sort of people you can lose in a crowd. Holmes is not really a policeman, not part of Scotland Yard; he's much less noticeable than all that. He's the guy you go to when Scotland Yard can't help you, when you need a private detective and not a constable.
Some guy walks up to you and asks which way the bathroom is. You point in the general direction, and then forget about the guy; while the guy just figured out which is your dominant hand, whether your shirt fits properly, what finger or fingers you point with (people from different cultures point with different fingers), and probably a bunch of other stuff.
I can't imagine Cumberbatch's Holmes going unrecognized like that, and that high profile is really against what I consider to be the tone of Doyle's Holmes.
On the other hand; they had a non-stupid Watson who was likable and provided a reason for why his gunshot wound in the leg was in his shoulder which was in his leg was in his shoulder and not even Doyle knows whether it was the leg or the shoulder. Also, Mike Stamford is one of the greatest characters ever to grace television.
And there's the thing of how everybody goes hatless all the time, which is pretty dang lame.

"Ormund" is a pretty good name, I admit.
