There's nothing quite as enjoyable as encountering a Zangief with Elf.

He lacks a sufficiently spammable/useful anti-air, which means that I can't get knocked out of the air hundreds of times. But he can deal out a lot of damage, which makes him a worthy foe to me, and vice versa.

ah, figured out how to trick him into charging.

The rest was easy. And then I "Well What is It?" 'd him after I won, because that's how you play Dark Souls.

I didn't get the Axe though, which is unfortunate.

I mean, the actual room is, but when I went too far to the one side I just fell into a pit of water and died. So, unless that was a bug, not really.

Friend has forgiven me a debt, in true Christian fashion.

I now have $10 dollars that I can spend. However, Dark Souls is too expensive, and I'd rather wait until SF x Tekken's price goes down. The combined DLC currently costs as much as the game, and I know that, at some point, when I'm feeling down and I want to buy something to feel good about myself, I'll buy those stupid alternate costumes and regret it. So we'll table that for now.

Okay, this might sound crazy, but I think I'm going to save it for a rainy day.

Balrog's suckiness as both a literary character and a fighting game character is not questionable.

He sucks, his style stucks, and the people who use him are probably not bad, but I'll judge them for their decision regardless.
