I was actually mildly dissatisfied because in my haste to outrun the train, I forgot to set it to "moving target" mode and the train ended up with a motion blur >_<

i wonder if there was a time when people were less easily offended
iirc there was a study that found people from the Southern USA were more easily offended than those from the North
they reckoned it was because in the South people care more about manners and insults are more likely to start fights there
There's a guy in our neighborhood who always makes sure to give a friendly smile and wave to anyone who passes by while he's outside, even if he doesn't know you.
I'm 99% sure he's from the South, because that's not the kind of thing most people do up in our big Midwestern cities.
