My solution to not sleeping all night: Setting three alarms at 10-minute intervals to make it inconvenient, albeit not impossible, to ignore them and go back to sleep
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
miko the sad girl goes to school

One time I did an experiment where I set my alarm for a half hour later and when that woke me up I set it for another half hour and so on throughout the night.
In the end, I felt physically rested but mentally fucked up, moreso than usual

miko the sad girl talks to someone
silly miko! there is no one around who gives a shit! better go whine on the internet, or wait for another therapist appointment that is like an ant-sized dollop of butter on a grand piano of toast.

miko the sad girl is a depressing story :(
I can come up with a better one. ^_^
Once there was a psychic girl called Miko. Her father had a strong interest in psychic brains, and had begun experiments that harvested the brains of those so endowed and transplanted them into weaponized vehicles, which proved very effective. However, little Miko was one day taken away and turned into a weapon as well. But in her experiment, she retained consciousness. Enraged, her father built a doomsday machine and had his own brain transplanted into it so he could wipe out the cruel humans. Miko suffered the agony of being a spaceship, but felt obliged to save the world by killing her father. This happened. The end.
back when i was reeeeaalllllyyy little when we lived in the house on Marshall, before my sister was born, we all woke up at 4 in the morning and drove my dad to work. then me and mom would go for the Tremendous 12 at Perkins.

I haven't been to Perkins in AGES
Like, I was still a license plate-obsessed 8-year-old, I think

Gather it all up with both hands, pull it all to a single point with one fist, then put it through a hair tie that is in your other hand. You will probably have to twist the hair tie after that and put the hair through it again, so it stays. In time it will become a fluid movement. :)

This is not supposed to be possible since the game will get more impossible the better you do, but this is TAS which proves (interestingly) that it is possible in theory to do a perfect Garegga run.
Huh. I was referencing a Harlan Ellison joke there, but it ended up being apropos in a vaguely depressing yet also funny manner. Not sure whether or not that's lucky.

there are some nice people here to talk to, even if they are only pixels on a screen.
to carry on our legacy
In any case, I'm not sure how worth contemplating the whole ordeal is.
