I have big ol' bushy eyebrows, despite not being a mammal.
I would be livid if someone waxed them away.
Also, Apatosaurus excelsus and Apatosaurus ajax, according to Robert Bakker, are different enough species to not be in the same Genus. According to Bakker, we could go back to Marsh's original name Brontosaurus excelsus for the excelsus; and keep ajax as Apatosaurus ajax. This way, we would use Marsh's original name for both species; have both Brontosaurus and Apatosaurus, and have more taxonomical correctness.

If Bakker turns out to be correct this is pretty rad.
The actual story is different. The priest, Greg Reynolds, resigned from his ministry - indeed because of his views - in 2011. After resignation he continued to exercise his priestly ministry which is a punishable offence under the canon law. The local Bishop asked the Vatican to take measures. It's all on Fr. Reynolds' own website:
Excommunication means that from now on Catholics cannot attend his services as he does not belong to the RC church any longer. I am not sure the Pope is aware of the case as the power of decision in such matters was delegated years ago to the Vatican Congregation of the clergy. The suggestion that Francis excommunicated that priest for his views is not true to the facts.
Speaking of Lorde, Sam Truth is upset because they literally live ten minutes from each other and he had no idea she made music and thus lost out on a potentially huge break for him.

-blatant lies- Bakker has never been wrong about anything, ever, and his ideas have never been controversial in the slightest. His ideas are universally accepted by paleontologists.-blatant lies-
-blatant lies- Bakker is always wrong in everything he says; and all his ideas are pseudoscience and are rejected by all paleontologists. He's just making junk up.-blatant lies-
-Ali's opinion- Bakker is a controversial paleontologist with lots of neat ideas, some of which are wrong and some of which are right; but all are interesting.-Ali's opinion-
Kitty Pryde has started putting her vocals really, really low in the mix and I think it makes her music a lot better. Which sounds like a backhanded compliment, but it's really not.

i thought you didn't like Kitty Pryde?
I didn't, but she's gotten a lot better apparently because I'm listening to D.A.I.S.Y. RAGE and it's actually really good.
I still think her half of "Orion's Belt" is awful though.
The way her own vocals are treated is somewhat akin to how producers like Clams Casino (and, well, me, but let's not get egotistical) treat vocal samples. There's a lot of filter and echo on most of them and the tape's a lot better for it.

This is one of the better things I've come across via a youtube "related videos" section.

This is legit a contender for my favorite pop song of the year.
The only TKK song I know is that one, are their others similar or was that a one-off thing?
I will probably check it out after listening to this Lorde EP.
Lame
I sympathize with him.
they're supposed to be professionals

i'm not demanding that he be correct in terms of everything he says.
i'm not demanding anything.
hand it over
yes you
You said, "If Bakker turns out to be correct, this is pretty rad".
I'm making fun of my younger self, who thought that Bakker was absolutely right about everything, ever.
And here's my lunch money.
Assassin poems, Poems that shoot
guns. Poems that wrestle cops into alleys
and take their weapons leaving them dead
Oh thanks.
For some reason i never took much interest in palaeontologists when i was younger. i was only interested in the animals themselves.
I still think her half of "Orion's Belt" is awful though.
i'll give D.A.I.S.Y. rage a listen
