that old Lorax cartoon, I literally had every word memorized when I was a kid
Same here. I loved that cartoon as a kid. I remember going to the Fernbank Museum of Natural History with my mom to look at the Dinosaur exhibit they had there and on the way out we went to the gift store and The Lorax was playing on one of the TVs, so we stayed an extra 25 minutes to watch that. I haven't seen that cartoon in forever. I should probably fix that.
Speaking of things from my childhood that I haven't seen in forever, I need to re-watch the Hobbit movie. I used to absolutely love that.

Moderation, Kexruct. It's one thing to eat McDonald's every day, another to eat it once a week or less.
And I understand that, but the fact of the matter is that McDonalds is the opposite of sustenance. People who create food that is often used as a significant portion of a surprisingly large amount of people's diets should be held responsible when their food is having an objectively negative effect.

I hated that cartoon as a kid. It was a punch in Lil' Rozzy's soul; like that one Ray Bradbury story where it always rains on Venus except for one day every seven years and the kids lock poor Margot in the closet.

why are you suddenly a food crusader? Did you just see Super Size Me for the first time or something?

Anything is moral so long as it provides work for people (sarcasm).
I should go play more Psychonauts I suppose. The game hasn't really grabbed me yet, I can appreciate the cutscenes as being very well written but there's just too many of them.

I've had this opinion for a while, and I've expressed it before. Just because you're used to dealing with pretentious idiots on a daily basis doesn't mean you should treat me like one because I express a view that is sort of similar to one of theirs.

Why do you care about politics? Why do you care about the things you care about?
People can care about anything. There is no person who gets to decide what is important and what is not; there is no one person who gets to say what is worth caring about.

Like, I enjoy those foods. And I'd just gotten out of an argument about it, so the viewpoints I just expressed are probably a bit more extreme than I actually believe.
But unhealthy food is dominating the food market right now, and it shouldn't be difficult to find healthy food. And the fact of the matter is that no one has the agency to change other than the corporations at the moment.

Remember to explore a lot.
ueueueuegh open-world exploration is not my thing.

how necessary is it on a scale of 1 to Morrowind?
It's not open world, it just has a bunch of collectables and funny side conversations that make the game easier and more interesting.
It's mostly pretty linear. Nothing is diabolically well-hidden. It's more like SM64 or a Rare game.
