Zelda seems to get more/higher-profile examples of being able to be a hero, unlike Peach, even though she's usually wearing a disguise in the process...
(Though Peach is pretty helpless in the main Mario series, she does kick ass in SMRPG and SPM)
But I feel too many positive things towards them, I worry (they only really started after Iger took over as CEO; he lets the individual units do their thing, though really ABC needs to either be sold off or fixed)
Nostalgia Chick is smug and acts annoyed that children's shows don't have adult nuances and that the CGI Lorax movie had to have product tie ins (what a sell-out), despite the fact that Wall-E had all these product tie-ins and I don't see nobody complainin' about that. Nostalgia critic is a grown man screaming at children's movies and the like. Angry Video Game Nerd just swears all the time at video games. Jesuotaku doesn't like Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind despite it clearly being amazing. Linkara is like Angry Video Game Nerd, but for comic books.
im sorry to break it to the people who consistently complain about the decline in “good music” there isn’t a shortage in quality music you just have terrible taste and a lack of imagination or patience to look beyond what’s presented to you
The Chick's beef with The Lorax wasn't the product placement per se—you pretty much have to do it these days to get a movie made—but the things they decided to place. Stamping "Lorax Approved" on a car that gets maybe 30 MPG on a good day is kind of undermining the movie's intended message about pollution.

lee4hmz said:I haven't seen it. In fact, I'm still kind of shocked that the Seuss estate even let them do it. The 1972 CBS/DFE version is still the best.
I remember when I found out about it that I too was shocked that they let Universal (even if it was through Illumination) anywhere near one of Dr. Seuss's creations again...I think Illumination also intends on doing How the Grinch Stole Christmas! and Cat in the Hat adaptations.
I saw bits and pieces of this...it felt like a DreamWorks movie

Zelda is sexist trash from start to finish
you could not find a worse example of the objectification of women in video gaming

What's the riddle!
Assassin poems, Poems that shoot
guns. Poems that wrestle cops into alleys
and take their weapons leaving them dead
Or, going an alternate route, it might be the boiling point of an important element, alloy, or something like that.
Or it might be the average number of times one will close a door on one's finger in one's lifetime.
See this is why i'd look a bit of a fool getting too mad at Disney; i like too much of their stuff.
my mind is officially closed
i am sure i will be happier this way
