Okay, I want to know what that weird theremin (I doubt it's a full analog synth) with the capacitive touchpad keyboard was. They were using it during "Good Vibrations" just now.
Name: Zurr-en-Arr'h (Medium Outsider) Race: Eidolon Class: Sorcerer Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Level: 1 Experience: 0000/X Size: Medium Outsider Gender: Genderless Age: Eidolon do not age. Height: ?? Weight: ?? Homeland: The Ethereal Plane Languages: Common, Draconic, Infernal, Celestial Information: Most Eidolon are created by the will of a summoner. But some are created by the natural energies of the Ethereal plane condensing and gaining sapience, and then shunted through poorly-understood energies, winding up on the Material Plane. The dragonlike creature known as Zurr-en-Arr'h is one such Eidolon. Possessing a natural affinity for magic similar to that of a sorcerer, Zurr-en-Arr'h seeks to increase his own power, and learn more about the strange "Material" plane he finds himself in. Zurr-en-Arr'h somewhat resembles a small black dragon to the untrained eye. Others might mistake him for merely a dragonoid, as he lacks back legs and his wings are small and (currently at least) non-functional. In actuality, he is a natural-born Eidolon. An anomaly to all (himself included). He is smaller than most dragons, and his claws are blunted, making them unsuitable for combat at this time. Zurr-en-Arr'h prefers to talk his way out of combat whenever possible. Preferring to rely on minions when on the occasion that avoiding it isn't. Zurr will either retreat while summoned monsters take care of any attackers, or he will hang back and attack behind his lines. Zurr-en-Arr'h currently makes his home in a small cave outside of a bustling megalopolis. He is in collaboration with a group of kobolds who raid supplies for him in exchange for small magical favors.

Every time I see it pop up on my Dashboard I'm tempted to go re-draw the sign and replace it with a better version.
One of these days, the thought "I should get a tumblr just to have an easier way to keep up with Homestuck tumblr things" will become more than an idle idea.

I remember back in June, I kept hearing about Tumblr but I had no idea what it was or what it was really supposed to be for, so I went and signed up for one anyway.
Speaking of cute, Taylor Swift is at the Grammys and she is wearing, like, no makeup at all (and if she is, it's very conservative). OMG SHE IS SO CUTE THAT WAY.

I did. Or rather, I went back and tweaked the sizes and spacing in the original Inkscape file and then re-uploaded a new version to Tumblr.
That's one think I like about working with vector graphics like Inkscape. Everything stays an editable object, so if I want to tweak it later I can.
Okay, I'm seriously considering not doing this homework.
After all, the chances are that the teacher isn't even going to accept it, and it's only going to impact a fifth of my grade. If I've been doing as well on the quizzes as I think I am, it should cancel out
Heh, Glen Campbell is performing now, and he's expecting the audience to sing the chorus of "Rhinestone Cowboy" with him, and they're all like "We have no interest in this cornball vaudevillian nonsense!"
And one final caveat: if I make a tumblr, as with all my blogs, it will almost certainly have a name that is horribly pretentious and, unfortunately, completely serious about it. Even though I will think of it as "a tumblr blogpony" and it will consist entirely of Homestuck reblogs.
yarrun: Is it worth doing for your own edification?
It's two case briefs on cases that I'm already familiar with (McCulloch v Maryland and Gibbons v Ogden), having taken AP US History and having reviewed it while taking notes for AP Gov. For all I care, it's just busywork, and the chances of me learning anything from it is very low.
In fact, most of the kids in this class just copy the case briefs from kids who took the class last year (which I don't do because, as one of the top kids in my grade, I find cheating to be below me. It's also morally reprehensible to me, but nobody here gives a shilling for morals when it comes to passing a class)
It's one of the major issues with the education system in the states, in my opinion. Too much emphasis on getting the grade, not enough on learning the material.
It's why we we always look like twits when we're compared to the Europeans and the Asians
So basically, US schools promote munchkinism? That kind of makes sense, and that sense of winning at all costs seems to show up disturbingly often in corporate America, if Wall Street and American Greed are any indication.
You wanna know what I learned about from my economics homework today?
Fucking Z-Blocks.
What's a Z-Block you ask? I don't fucking know. But it can apparently do anything, and there is apparently also only one of them at any given time. It's like Powerthirst, but not a drink.
so somehow, thanks to all the resets and such I guess, a picture of Sollux is the first image on Skaianet, even though it's been around since before the trolls were introduced.
Does this count as real life weird time shit, I wonder.
